Regular Candles
* Obtained through reliving Spirit memories - only once.
* Obtained from Daily Light - aka. the wax you collect in the realms.
* Obtained from Daily Quests when a season is not active.

Season Candles
* Obtained from Daily Quests when a season is active.
* Obtained from the realm in which the daily quests are based. Four small bundles will form one Seasonal Candle.
* Additionally, one candle per day can be collected if you have a Season Pass.

Hearts
* Obtained from Spirits for free or for Candles.
* Obtained from other players - they can send one to you for 3 Candles.
* Obtained from Light sent by other players through the constellation.

Ascended Candles
* Obtained at the Eye of Eden.
* Obtained through the Red Shard events.

Generally these should be saved up for time-limited things, beware of spending too much early.

There are a few ways to chat with players.
Unlocking chat through the friend tree - most costly - 7 candles in total.
Benches and such - free, but with limited time - until the candle burns out. There are also spots that are not limited in time.
Shared Spaces - free with unlimited time, requires finding a Shared Space with a prop to sit at, like a table.
Player-set props - similar to props in Shared Spaces - keep an eye out for more experienced players setting them down to chat with you.
Friend code - free, unlimited by time, does not require sitting in a predefined spot.

Friend codes can be used to save candles, especially if you're starting the game with friends!

Sky comes with an integrated translation module, to use it you must first open chat history, click on the individual message, then on the translate icon. Translation can be reversed in much the same way.

Opening the chat history is different depending on the platform, but on PC it's bound to the C button.

There are situations where you can lose some of your Winged Light, which will eventually downgrade how many flaps you can do with your wing, so be aware of your surroundings.

If you think you're stuck, you can always return Home and try again by using the "Return to previous location" feature.
