The goals of this guide are:
1. Playing in a way that is convenient for me to create the optimal route for finding collectibles;
2. Other players, exploring the map differently, can use the breakdown into regions consistent with the main quests;
3. An important part of the guide is the numbering of Tokens and Beetles, which will definitely help you avoid confusion.

I found interactive maps and guides on various resources, with many screenshots and videos that show the tokens in a random order. So I decided to share my routes to explore the world. Maybe you will find them comfortable too.

I am writing the guide together with "Google Translate" as I progress through the game. But I try to make everything clear even without my "knowledge" of English :)

Basic Information

   Seeker's Token
is a valuable type of Item in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Seeker's Token is a rare article found the world over in places remote or picturesque. Can be exchanged at a guild hall for a variety of rewards.

   Golden Trove Beetle is an Implement type of Item in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Golden Trove Beetle is a rare beetle that glitters like gold. Consuming it increases the weight one can carry by 0.15 kg. The Arisen's main pawn can also receive the same effect.

   After getting one of the riddles from the "Sphinx", you will have to go back to the place where you picked up your first Seeker's Token. You will have to remember where you got your first Seeker's Token unless you have it noted down and you will see what looks like another Seeker's Token but upon picking up, it will say Finder's Token. Head back to the Sphinx and present the item to it. Quest is called "A Game of Wits"[dragonsdogma2.wiki.fextralife.com]

   NOTE: There are only 240 Seeker's Token. But you can spend 220 tokens. There is nowhere to spend the remaining 20! So you don't have to collect everything.

   NOTE: All previously collected seeker tokens will not appear in NG+.

   NOTE:
  • You will receive 1 unmarked Beetle as a reward for the quest "The Gift of Giving"[dragonsdogma2.wiki.fextralife.com]. Guide section #3;
  • Beetle #52 can be purchased from the Folkes merchant. Guide section #13;
  • Beetle #61 can be purchased from the Mubarak merchant. Guide section #17.

   After meeting with Captain Brant, I was offered to choose one of three quests to continue the main plot. These are "Monster Culling", "Disa's Plot", "The Caged Magistrate". Of course I will do all three although they are not required.
   My first choice was "Monster Culling". This quest has three different tasks: "the Trevo Mine" to eliminate the goblins, "Harve Village" to dispatch the saurians, and the "Eastern Edge of Vermund" to help with a delivery duty. These quests are not affected by the passage of time.

   But first I search the city of Vernworth.

   NOTE: You will receive 1 unmarked beetle as a reward for the quest "The Gift of Giving" which can be obtained in The Slums in Vernworth.

   NOTE: You can already plan to visit the elven city Sacred Arbor to buy powerful bows, magickal bows, staves or archistaves in the Grisha's Armory shop. See the "#10 | 95-105 Seeker's Token | 35-39 Beetles" section of the guide.

   You can get to the elven city Sacred Arbor from the beginning of the game, explore the surrounding area, and buy goods in the store. Even without using the pawn specialization "Woodland Wordsmith". The dialogue options for NPCs are always the same.

   Can be combined with the "Monster Culling: Trevo Mine" quest.

   NOTE: Before visiting Sacred Arbor, don't forget to talk to Glyndwr in the Vernworth to start the quest "Gift of the Bow", and then "A Trial of Archery".

   Maybe you want to get to Bakbattahl faster to complete the quest "The Ailing Arborheart" if Doireann was saved. This quest is not affected by the passage of time. And then the quest “Out of the Forest, Into the Forge”. This quest is affected by the passage of time. In Battahl you will visit the location Stragglers' Cave where you can find token #191. You can pick it up now or later. Guide section #19

   I had to divide the path to Checkpoint Rest Town into two parts #11 and #12.
   You can follow the road to Checkpoint Rest Town or use fast travel. For example, to complete the quest "The Sorcerer's Appraisal" for the Sorcerer. Or to get to Battahl earlier. No matter where you start looking for tokens and beetles, just remember their numbers.

   Here you can find two of the four roads in Misty Marshes. Guide section #16

   You will get to Checkpoint Rest Town after completing the main quest "Feast of Deception", when you receive "Border Entry Permit" that will allow you to cross to the southern region Battahl. But only If you apprehended Bermudo during "The Arisen's Shadow". And you also need a Beastren Mask.

   There are three more ways to get to Battahl. Drive an oxcart through the gate without a Border Entry Permit and Beastren Mask. Go through Guerco Cavern (guide section #16). Go through Thunderclap Cave (guide section #15).

   In the north there is a road to the Ancient Battleground location. From there you can get to the Sphinx. Guide section #13.
   To the west is another road to Battal. Guide section #15.

   Beetle #52 can be purchased from the Folkes merchant. He can walk in the ancient fortress and the ruins to the east. Finding one can be difficult. He may die, and then he will have to be resurrected. Other players say that Folkes appears after completing the quest "Tolled to Rest" to escort Oskar to the bell.

   NOTE: After five riddles the Sphinx will fly to another location. You can find it in the Frontier Shrine. Guide section #15.

   Beetle #61 => Mubarak merchant

   NOTE: Seeker's Token #172 does not need to be found during the quest "Mercy among Thieves". After a fight with bandits in the Coral Snake's Hideout, a Grim Ogre spawns, which is guaranteed to drop a Ogresbane.

   Seeker's Token are found in several quest related locations.

   You probably have a "Border Entry Permit". At the entrance to the city of Bakbattahl, outside the tavern, you will meet Minella. She will give you a "Battahl Residence Permit" while completing the "Nation of the Lambent Flame" main quest. You won't need to wear the Beastren Mask.
   Later, Minella gives the quest "Shadowed Prayers" where you need to save Empress Nadinia from murder in the location Flamebearer Palace (token #197).

   After completing the quest "Mercy among Thieves" Hugo is sent to Bakbattahl Gaol. You can start the quest "Off the Pilfered Path". If you open a prison cell with Ashe during this quest, he will escape. In the prison cell you can find token #201. Ashe can later be found in the same city in the tavern The Wanderer's Haven. It will also be needed for the quest “A Candle in the Storm”, which is a continuation of the quest “Shadowed Prayers”.

   Tokens #202-203 are located in the location Forbidden Magick Research Lab, quest "A Veil of Gossamer Clouds". You can enter the laboratory through the main entrance (the bridge near the entrance to the Bakbattahl Gaol), through the tunnel in the Bakbattahl Gaol, through the entrance to the Flamebearer Palace.

   You will have several reasons to visit this location. The cave Caliginous Depths where Medusa lives, according to the quest "A Case of Sculptor's Block". Only here you can get Granite Medusa Bone. On your first kill you will receive the Medusan Spellbow. You will receive 3 Steam achievements.

   Moving up the path you will find yourself in the Dragonsbreath Tower. In the quest "A New Godsway" you are hinted that the necessary 15 wyrmslife crystals can be obtained from the Lesser Dragon here. The same dragon that you saw in Melve. Of course, wyrmslife crystals can also be obtained from a Drake, but this particular one is needed to obtain the maister ability scroll for the Mystic Spearhand specialization. Therefore, there is no need to delay killing him. After this, Drake will spawn here.

   Also in "Dragonsbreath Tower" lives a Griffin. After killing him you will receive the magical bow Dragon's Breath.

   Leave a portcrystals in Dragonsbreath Tower to farm wyrmslife crystals. This is the best place. The entire map is divided into 3 regions, and each has its own Drake. Vermund has a large number of Drake spawning areas. There are few Drake spawn locations in Battahl, and often it will be "Dragonsbreath Tower". On the Agamen Volcanic Island, Drake is strong.

Conclusion
   NOW ALL 240 seekers tokens are in place! :) At the beginning, I had no idea how much time this guide would take. And recording video for my computer turned out to be really stressful. Don't scold me for low FPS, I can't update the computer configuration for objective reasons. All that remains is to correct the mistakes, but it’s difficult to do this without feedback. If I made a mistake or missed something, please write!

   If this guide helped you find the missing tokens, like it, add it to your favorites, and don’t forget about the rewards ;) Thank you for your attention!

Well done, and thank you. :)

Google translator translated everything correctly, I was lucky =D

Now all 240 tokens are in place! :)

What remains is bug fixing.

I found 222 seeker tokens + the special for the quest.
Tumblyweeds 7 May @ 1:49am
"Wolves hunt in packs!" :)

Strange to hear that so often in DD1, but never in DD2.

Yes, your pictures help a lot. Thank you for doing this. Very much appreciated.
Pustota  [author] 6 May @ 10:17am
Thanks for your feedback.

I’ll have to see it through to the end because I had to sacrifice likes for my pawn. I'm a fan of DD1 and knew how to make my pawn popular right after the game's release. But I decided not to indulge my vanity, but to create, perhaps, something useful.

The "Detection" augment doesn't help at all, to be honest. Otherwise I wouldn't have to take so many screenshots.
Tumblyweeds 6 May @ 8:10am
Excellent, so far.

I hope you will have the time, energy, health, and inclination to finish this. :)

The "Detection" augment can help us to find Seeker tokens, but only if we are near enough to see the flashes. A good guide, like this one, helps me get close enough to see those flashes.

Happy gaming! :)
Pustota  [author] 24 Apr @ 8:12pm
Yes. Trickster ugments called "Detection".
https://dragonsdogma2.wiki.fextralife.com/Detection
RestlessPilgrim 24 Apr @ 5:52am
Trickster has a perk (i think it's Detector?) that causes Seeker Tokens to make a sound and flash when you're near them. It's a lifesaver for finding Tokens!
