It's not too dissimilar to how the editor works in 8-bit armies and Forged battalion. The biggest difference being that you have to save as two separate files .ted for terrain and .sob for objects and you have to add them to a mod if you want to test and publish it.

As for how I learned those editors, soer4769 has a decent tutorial on the glyphx editor on youtube that takes you through the basic functionality of the editor's features and I had experience from making maps in worldbuilder for C&C games, a lot of the fundamentals are much about the same, it was just a matter of learning how the glyphx editor handles those features.

I've thought about doing a tutorial myself but I just haven't had the time.
