This controller configuration will make it so a single button press will result in a single wiper wipe, like a mist setting IRL. Holding the bind will cycle the different speeds like normal.

It does this by binding the same button press 3 times with a small delay.

Now you can clear your windscreen without having to spam the wiper button 3 separate times. Helpful for removing the slow accumulation of dust and dirt over long stages.

To create the keybinding macro:

1. Open Steam's controller setting menu. (Shift+Tab, or Game Properties)
   
2. Edit your controller's layout.
   
3. Find the button that controls the Windshield Wipers. (Right on Dpad by default)
   
4. Edit the button and choose "Add extra command", and map it to the same button.
   
5. Edit Command 2's settings and add a Fire Start Delay of 300(ms).
   
6. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 again, but with Command 3 add a Fire Start Delay of 350.

Now a tap of the wiper button will do a single wipe and then stop. Holding the button longer than 350ms will cycle through the wiper speeds as normal.

You can tune the values of the fire start delay to be longer or shorter, just keep Command 3's delay 50ms longer than Command 2's.

Command 3's delay time will effect how long you have to hold for the cycle, The delay time is in ms.

Doing a short hold for the time in between Command 2 and 3's delay time will only input 2 of the 3 cycles in the binding. Usually putting the wipers on fast mode instead of stopping them again

Too short of a delay will cause the game to not register them as separate inputs.
