A lot of cheats used in Quake are compatible because of the engine; some of these can be enabled through the game console which you can open with the combination of keys: shift+escape

Once the console is opened, you can then type in a number of cheats; all of these should be typed into the console without quotes:

"god" - gives invulnerability

"fly" - gives you the ability to fly, but does not activate noclip mode.

"noclip" - enables noclip mode.

"impulse 99" - gives all weapons with full ammo, all runes, a single soul tether, and full armor.

"notarget" - enemies will not attacked, unless provoked.

To teleport to the level hubs is a similar process to the one of adding cheats, simply type in "map" without quotations, followed by the hub you want, so if you want to go to the second level hub all you have to do is open the console with shift+escape, and then type:

map hub2

The list of hubs might be self explanatory, but for sake of clarity, the hub names are as follows:

• hub2
  
  
• hub3

So just open console followed by the level hub you want to teleport to and you're set.

These cheats can be binded to specific keys by typing in the console: bind "KEY" "CHEAT". So for example if I want to bind "impulse 99" to the "shift" key, I open the console and type:

bind shift "impulse 99"

That way whenever I press the shift key I get full ammo and all runes, for example. This are quote sensitive, which is to say, YOU HAVE TO HAVE QUOTES AROUND THE CHEAT IN ORDER FOR THE CONSOLE TO RECOGNIZE THE BIND; if you don't have the quotes the bind won't work.
