Mods in Spellforce - Conquest of Eo come in two different forms

• A folder containing all the mod content
  
• A file ending in .ogcp containing all mod content

From a user perspective both can be handled the same way in most circumstances.

All mods for the game are located in your Documents folder under




After you have started Spellforce - Conquest of Eo at least once the {Documents}\My Games\Spellforce - Conquest of Eo folder will have been created automatically to store savegames and settings.

The Content folder will not be created by default and needs to be created by you before copying the first mod there.

• Make sure the game isn’t running
  
• Find or create the folder {Documents}\My Games\Spellforce - Conquest of Eo\Content
  
• Copy the mod folder or .ogcp file into the Content folder
  
• Start the game

• Find your {Documents}\My Games\Spellforce - Conquest of Eo\Content folder
  
• Remove or delete the mod you want to uninstall from the folder.

Depending on the mods you install, savegames created after this might require the mod, so always be mindful which mods are currently installed or backup your savegames accordingly.

Once the game detects the {Documents}\My Games\Spellforce - Conquest of Eo\Content folder it will unlock the ingame mod menu for you to see which mods have been activated.

Currently you cannot enable or disable mods ingame.

For mod users the only thing relevant in this menu are the list of installed mods to check which mods are correctly installed and active. The Mod Developer Tools are only relevant if you want to develop a new mod. See the Modding Developer Guide for info on how to do that.
