There is a mod that improves fps and stutter for DD2 but even though it is safe from viruses and been scanned, sometimes you just sill dont trust it so im going to show you have to do it yourself easily

This is a way to do what this mod does by yourself

Step 1

Create a new text document on your desktop

Step 2

Name is anything but with the .reg extension

Step 3

Right click and edit with notepad or something similar like notepad++ (which is what I'm using) and copy paste the below

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options/DD2.exe/PerfOptions]
"CpuPriorityClass"=dword:00000003

This will set the priority of DD2.exe to high by default.

Remember to save!

Step 4

Double click the new reg file and you will get the below warning (you need to be an admin to do this). accept it and it will say complete.

Step 5

Restart your PC! now when you run the game it will run in high priority every time.

Tip: this can be used for any exe

just process lasso its free and does exactly what you want
no need to edit any files or your registry

For uninstalling use the follow Command. Make a txt File for example and save it as *.bat

reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\DD2.EXE" /f

i tried it seems to work noticeable less stutter thanks i can play at a way smoother 30 lol like we should have to do this.
