Counter-Strike Player Death Sounds

Descrição
Basic addon, that adds player death sounds from Counter-Strike games, playing from a dead players position. (Also mutes default HL2 flatline sound)

Initially i made this mod, because i didn't like how the one in workshop played sounds so loud, that a quiet "aAahh" or "oOoOoh" could be heard from the entirety of gm_bigcity.

This addon now features:
  • Death Sounds from CS:S, CS:GO, CS 1.6 and even CS:CZ. Yes, all in one!
  • Female Agents voice set from CS:GO.
  • Support for Garry's Mod's default female models. (for custom player models you can use "cl_cstrike_deathsounds_forcefemale 1")
  • Support for Lambda Players! (use this to mute beeping)
  • Settings menu under "Options" tab for server and clients.

Sound sets:
0 - None (HL2 Flatline)
1 - CS:S / CS:GO
2 - CS 1.6
3 - CS:CZ

I'm still a very amateur modder, so if you find any bugs or errors (or you have some suggestions on how i can improve), please, report it to me in the addon's comment section.

DOES NOT require ANY of the games to be installed & mounted.

An update is coming. Nothing special, just decided to optimize some stuff, since I've learned quite a lot from writing addons i'm ~currently~ working on... 👀

Lambdas seem to not play the death sound, but the female variant works for whatever reason, also PLEASE let us customise what model uses which death sound variant, if it's a female model and unconfigured used by a lambda i can't make it a female death sound

CS:Online is developed by Nexon; a Korean company, while CS:NEO was developed by Bandai Namco; a Japanese company, just letting you know this.
I don't mind either way if you don't wanna add sounds from either Online/Nexon or NEO, I just suggested these two games for variety (this is especially coming from who previously played CS:Nexon years ago and tried playing CS:NEO through Teknoparrot to no avail).

Dang it! How could i forgot about my beloved one? (probably cuz i played the deleted scenes more :papyrus:) Thanks for your suggestion, i'll add them whenever i'll have a possibility. As for the Chinese one... well, most people don't count it as a proper "Counter-Strike" game, and i myself haven't really tried it so idk. I just think it would be better if this addon would remain as it is, with all the sounds from the era of OG CS. Anyway, thanks for your suggestions, i really appreciate them :steamthumbsup::os_niko:

If I'm honest with you, since you included CS1.6 sounds into this, you might as well include Condition Zero (yes, this game has different death sounds, they sound similar to Source but still different), Online/Nexon female sounds, and NEO too.

nope, both serverside forced to 1 and clientside set to 1, this sound mod still aint sounding

It sounds like your sound set is at 0? That's the only way it can technically play hl2 flatline
