Into The Renaissance- Playable Mongols

Beskrivning
The classic "Into the Renaissance" scenario where the player can also choose to play as the Mongolian civilization, with its extremely powerful unique ability and units. Like the AI Mongols, the player will not get a starting city nor settler until turn 40. On turn 40 the Mongols get their capital city, as well as several free military and civilian units, and the Chivalry technology. They get more free units on turns 50, 60, 70, 85 and 110, identical to the original scenario.

Some additional changes were made to make it more human friendly:

Mongols are assigned Islam as a religion, rather than having no religion nor pantheon. Old Sarai starts with a majority Islam population.
Horsemen are obsoleted by Metallurgy instead of Chivalry.
The human Mongolian player is granted the same starting bonuses to gold, faith, and culture as they would playing any other civ, scaled by difficulty.
Mongolian player is granted two scouts on turn 1 so they have something to do while waiting for turn 40 to roll around.
If Protestantism has been wiped out, it will occasionally resurface in Catholic city states.

One general bugfix to the scenario:

Fixed issue where after the first reload, being allies with or owning Jerusalem, or being allied with your Holy city no longer grants your religion's founder benefits.

Compatibility:
This scenario modifies DiploVotePopup.lua, ReligionOverview.lua, VictoryProgress.lua, and VoteResultsPopup.lua, and may cause instability if used with other mods that also modify these files.

nice mod, does what it's supposed to without modder going overboard :) Other modders would've started mongols with 4 settlers or something or nerfed their OP combat bonuses. The late entry is very interesting
