[TTT2] Fake Soda [WEAPON]

This is a weapon that allows you to drop a random fake soda if you do primary attack.
You can also switch to a different mode if you reload.
The other mode allows you to place a random fake soda firmly on the ground if you do primary attack.
Secondary attack plays a refreshing sound which will be audible for everyone near the owner in case you want to surprise someone. (You can switch to another weapon to stop the sound.)

You can spawn up to seven random sodas which can also be picked up again by you.
Your enemies see the fake names so they think that these sodas are normal while you and your team see the real names.
They have unique negative effects which only affect your enemies.

The fake sodas can only be identified by the soda model which is nearly identical to the real sodas but it has a minus symbol on it.

"Fake Soda" addon only makes sense if you use the "[TTT2] Super Soda [FEATURE]" addon otherwise everyone knows that these sodas must be fake but it works also without it.

Everything is configurable with ConVars. So you can for example deactivate the sounds if they are disturbing or change other settings.
A round restart or map reload/change is required to apply ConVar changes.


This works ONLY in TTT2.
TTT2 should appear on the right or if you try to download this addon it should appear for you too.


It's a weapon that is available for one credit for the traitor. (You can change that in the F1 menu.)




Yes you can. Extract the addon and delete the sound files which you don't like and add your sound files.
Don't forget to modify the code for the new sound files.
The drink sound file is located at: "ttt2_fake_soda\sound" under the name "fake_soda_drink.wav".
The primary attack sound file is located at: "ttt2_fake_soda\sound" under the name "fake_soda_drop.wav".
The secondary attack sound file is located at: "ttt2_fake_soda\sound" under the name "fake_soda_refreshing.wav".

You can change anything you want after you extracted the addon. After you finished just save and put the whole folder on your server (into the addons folder).
