What is this gobbledygook nonsense?

See that right there? It's incomprehensible! Is the game broken? Is the Arisen brain-damaged from the last encounter with a Cyclops? Has our memory finally failed to the point where we lost the ability to understand language?

NO!

They're Elves! They speak the forbidden language known as Elvish! This guide will teach you how to unlock this... unique... language!
Tell me your secrets!

Do you want the ability to understand those Elvish runes? Well you're in luck! Because that leaf-munching lady right there, who can find found managing the inn of Sacred Arbor, absolutely longs for the touch of a big (or small), strong (or gentle), human (or beastren) fighter (or whatever nonsense vocation you've chosen)!

All you have to do is forcibly feed her some flowers over the course of several days!
By gifting her a flower once per day while in conversation with her, you will increase her affinity toward your Arisen. Be sure to not waste your hoard of petaled precious-es by giving more than one per day. Results may vary by the quality of flower you gift, but results so far have shown a minimum of two consecutive gift days are required. Some have reported that 7+ days of gifting have been needed to acquire her affections.

Flowers that are known to work:
Bunch of Flowers
Sunbloom
Noonbloom
Moonglow

How to make Bunch of Flowers
The following combinations create the gift item "Bunch of Flowers" to win the heart of your Elvish paramour.

Sunbloom + Moonglow
Sunbloom + Noonbloom
Noonbloom + Moonglow
Results!

After the forced ingestion of several fields' worth of blossoms, your newest lover will gift you the treasured Woodland Wordsmith's Tome! Use the item while in your Arisen's inventory to teach your pawn the specialization aptly named, Woodland Wordsmith. Your pawn will now become the realm's most cunning linguist! Enjoy!

You can also use wyrmslife crystal if you don't wanna go get flowers, took me 2 crystals to get it

Giving flowers to the armor and weapons vendor will earn both an elvish tome and a 5% discount on anything you buy from her.

Unfortunately, no discount on upgrading armor or weapons.

Innkeeper doesn't offer discounts, so ... decide where you want to spend your flowers. :)

So all Elvens NPCs can give you the tome or only Kough specifically?

Pretty sure that you can only give one gift a day. Any more than that doesn't seem to do anything. In case anyone is trying to "feed" her flowers repeatedly every day.

Bro I've given her so many flowers. Weeks worth.
Still nothing!
