Step One
Don't buy them. All items are available in-game, and are easily acquirable through normal gameplay.
Step Two
There are no more steps.

These microtransactions are non-invasive (almost unnecessary) and do not lock anything behind any sort of paywall.

The microtransactions in this game are none of those you mentioned above, and the main reason is that they are not intrusive at all.

I never visited their store, but the only reason it's there is for people who don't understand that this game, like the original, was meant to be played through many times to get the portcrystals... RC is completely optional, higher level pawns aren't always better. Finding the ones that have the right skill and augment loadout is the most difficult. Tip: Max out ALL vocations on your pawn. Pick augments useful to the class... Augments useful to ALL pawn classes (except mages): Pertinacity, Dominion (Impact for thieves using Implicate), Lethality. Dominion is less important later due to big things don't topple as easily anymore and little things just die. Asperity is also good, especially if using magic weapons or in combination with Ice Affinity. Mages: Mettle, Perpetuation, Constancy, Subtlety. Mage Skills: Halidom, Affinity, atk spell, Solemnity. Load you Pawn out for bosses. Tank classes need the magic ac buff, not physical and visa versa for mage.

@Kidnoff
Stop purposefully miss clicking multiple times in a row at specific spots on the screen then.

There are micro-transactions? I thought there were just the 'i suck for the first hour' DLC things that get put in to placate upper management.

But how to avoid buying some stuff by miss click?

@Corey Wolfhart literally nothing except for the optional music and sound customization options are locked behind a paywall. There are in fact better camps that you can buy in game that are even lighter than the explorer camp kit, and you can craft items to raise affinity with the npcs. RC is plentiful as you increase in level, as are wakestones. So good job showing that you're just ignorant of how the game works.

Great guide, 10/10 would read and follow again.
Falling for the silly mtx they put in this game is an obvious skill issue.
