Setting up the program and creating a new power mode Change
1) download and install ParkControl
2) create your own power mode in Windows: power supply - creating a power management scheme - balanced or high performance (if you already have one, I still recommend creating a separate one and calling it differently - the program settings will be applied to it and you can always return to the previous one)
3) in the top line, select the created power supply scheme and click “Make active”.
4) Set the “Parking” value to off
5) Set the conversion frequency to on and set it to 20% (I chose for myself, you can use any others - this is the minimum value of the processor frequency, for example, at 100% the processor will always operate at the maximum frequency.
I play from a laptop PTX 2080, I9-9880H, all settings are set to maximum (DLSS quality, dynamic resolution off, 4K resolution). FPS in the open world is 49-52, without tuning the processor it did not rise above 31 and there were frequent drops.
