An In-Tents Adventure

During Main Quest #3: In Dragon’s Wake follow Gregor along the path going north until you come to a gate that will be raised for you.

Continue on and you’ll reach an encampment with several chests and items in the tents. Continue down the road and your left you’ll find a Camping Kit and a campfire. Make a camp here at the fire to unlock and achievement.

Do not worry if you missed this camp, you will meet such places around the world, just watch the map. Campfire places marked like this.

Seat of the Proxy

Story related and can't be missed. This is obtained shortly after completing Main Quest #3: In Dragon’s Wake, after your interrogation

Nobles' Night Out

Missable. Can be unlocked at Vernworth Castle during Main Quest #8: The Stolen Throne.

During this quest you will find Courtly Tunic, Courtly Breaches and Eventide Mask items (mask was given at start of quest).

At night go to Vernworth Castle — Vernworth Hall. You reach the castle by going up the path through Noble Quarter. At the exit of Noble Quarter is a bench where you can sit down to advance time, just before the castle entrance. The Vernworth Hall is where the masquerades are being held, in the west section of the Castle area. Entering with the full armor set equipped unlocks the achievement.

Note that Masquerades only happen every 2 nights. If there’s not Masquerade that night, sit down at the bench outside the Castle in Noble Quarter to skip time until the next night.

Myrmecoleon Delights

In the south of Vernworth you will find the Noble Quarter. The building furthest south is the brothel. Go through the door and you'll get a tutorial screen as well as this achievement.

Across the Border / I'm In

The border is located at Checkpoint Rest Town where you can take the oxcart from Verworth to get there. But the guard in front of the gate requires you to have a permit to pass, so you can just wait there for a moment till an oxcart passes by, just hide in the cart and once the cart has passed the gate, both achievements should pop.

Roost of the Dragon

Dragonsbreath Tower is a location southwest of Bakbattahl. You need to walk up a steep hill to find this on top of the hill. After entering the area the achievement will unlock immediately. It will be marked as a quest location during Side Quest: Short-Sighted Ambition.
Back Where It All Began

Story-related, cannot be missed. Unlocks in Main Quest: The Guardian Gigantus. The main storyline takes you back to where the Prologue started, then the achievement unlocks automatically. As part of the main quest you open the magic-sealed door in the southeast of Bakbattahl which will lead you back to the Prologue region.
Gigantus, I Hardly Knew Ye

You will face Gigantus during Main Quest: The Guardian Gigantus. You can easly kill him with Unmaking Arrow if you play Archer vocation.

How to get yourself an Unmaking Arrow:
  • Sovle Riddle of Recollection and get as reward from Sphinx
  • Purchase it from Dragonforged NPC that can be found in Bay Wayside Shrine

Make a shot with Unmaking Arrow and then make few ballista shots to kill Gigantus.
Peace

This is for one of the game endings. In the final main quest “Legacy” must ride the dragon all the way to the end, then defeat it, then sit on the throne during the credits until the game ends.
  • In Main Quest: Legacy attack the big dragon at the very end of the game.
  • You will now be riding the dragon. Ride it all the way to the end (DON’T attack its heart!). Just stay on its back until a cutscene plays and you fight the dragon.
  • Defeat the dragon endboss.
  • Afterward you can walk around in the throne room while the credits roll. Sit on the throne and let the credits finish rolling. When the game ends and you sit on the throne the achievement pops. Don’t stand up from the throne.
Dragon's Dogma 2

At the very end of the game when you ride the dragon you must climb to its heart and use the Empowered Godsbane Blade (automatic story unlock) from the inventory, use it to kill yourself while hanging onto the Dragon’s Heart.
  • In Main Quest 16: Legacy attack the big dragon at the very end of the game.
  • You will now be riding the dragon. Climb to its orange heart at the bottom of its neck. Open your inventory > select “Empowered Godsbane Blade.
You will sacrifice yourself with the sword but it will destroy the Dragon’s Heart and you will enter the secret Unmoored World. This sets you on the secret ending path tied to all other achievements that take place in the Unmoored World.
The Hero / I, Talos

To complete all the trials in the unmoored world, you must complete them within a few days. If you are not fast enough, each land will be destroyed one by one. The trials can be recognized by the red beacons shining from the sky. There are 4 trials in total, one of which is automatically completed as the first objective as soon as you get your pawn back in the Unmoored World. The ideal way is as follows.
  • Recover your pawn (tracked as main quest objecitve) and complete the first test, which is automatically completed during the story.
  • Travel directly to Vernworth and complete the trial located to the left outside the town. The strongest boss in the game awaits us here, which is why it is recommended to pack Wakestones. The boss can only be killed by attacking its weak points. After The Boss is dealt with, Vernworth is saved. You must go straight to the next location. Caution: This boss will instakill you if you attempt it under level 30.
  • Travel to Sacred Arbor. The next boss awaits us there, but it is the easiest one. This is a worm. Here you have to attack the weak points again so that you can defeat him. Here you work your way from the tail to the head. Caution: This boss has instakill attacks if you attempt it under level 30.
  • The final trial is right where you killed the Gigantus. For this trial you simply have to watch the fight. This step triggers the I, Talos achievement.

Now the Pathfinder will tell that the trial has failed and a new red beacon will appear. Note that as soon as you interact with the beacon, the game is over! After the cutscene you get the Hero achievement that all trials have been completed.

Since the world can no longer be destroyed, you can now explore the world. However, it is now advisable to bring people to safety. To do this, we interact with the blue beacon and talk to Rothias.
The Guardian

In order to get people to safety, you have to talk to all the leaders you met. However, it is advisable to complete all tests first so that the world cannot be destroyed. If you don’t take the tests, you have a short window of time to get people to safety.
  • Complete all required conditions for The Hero achievement to finish all trials of the unmoored word.
  • Travel to Vernworth and talk to Sven, who is in the castle. Talk to him to get the evacuation quest. To complete the quest you simply have to grab him to make him run away. Finally you talk to the seller and the quest is finished.
  • Travel to Sacred Arbor. Speak to the leader here. He will refuse to leave the country. You have to convince him. Keep talking to him until he gives up. You may need to sleep in between.
  • Travel to Bakbattahl. There we get the quest that we should end the argument first. Here it doesn’t matter what decisions you make. The quest ends quickly.
  • Travel to Volcanic Island Camp. Here we are given the task that we first have to evacuate the couple from Ciodhna. After that the quest is finished.
  • Go to the last location. To do this you have to go to the Agamen ruins and evacuate the slaves. You have to unlock the doors to get the artifact. Then everyone is rescued and the achievement should unlock.
Dragon's Dogma

Dragons Dogma is a powerful sword that can be purchased for 110 Wyrmslife Crytals from the Dragonforged, first available when you reach the Unmoored World.

In the Unmoored World you can find him at Seafloor Shrine, in the destroyed city where the blue beacon is. If you don’t have enough Wyrmslife Crystals to buy it, you can do it in New Game+. In NG+ you can buy it right away at the Dragonborne’s default location “Bay Wayside Shrine” (north of Bakbattahl).

No need to go into the Unmoored World to buy it in New Game+. You get at least 500 Crystals as soon as you complete the Ending in the Unmoored World, so you’ll have more than enough to buy Dragon’s Dogma sword.

Closure

Reach the Unmoored World. The game is over once you interact with the red beacon at the Seafloor Shrine. During the cutscene you have to move to the dragon.
Versatile

In Dragon’s Dogma 2 you can change your vocation (character class) at any time. This can be done at the inn in Melve, or at Vocation Guilds found in the major towns. You can also change the Vocation of your Main Pawn, the ally that follows you around. However, some of the late-game vocations are only usable by you and cannot be equipped to the pawn.
  • Option 1: At the Inn in Melve. This town is found early in the game. The main story will force you to go to the inn where you are introduced to changing vocations.
  • Option 2: At Guild Hall in Vernworth. This is the big capital city in the northern half of the map. The Vernworth Vocation Guild is the next building west from Stardrop Inn.
  • Option 3: At Guild Hall in Bakbattahl. This is the big capital city in the southern half of the map. You go there for story purposes.
Duo Destinies / Trickster of the Trade / Arrows and Incantations / Jack of All Trades, Master of...All Trades

The Mystic Spearhand vocation is unlocked from the story during Main Quest: A New Godsway, while slaying the dragons. You can also get it anywhere else by talking to Sigurd, an NPC found at various dragon locations.

For example, he can show up at Dragonsbreath Tower south-west of Bakbatthal (for me he spawned there during Main Quest: A New Godsway, next to the campfire). But even if you ignore him you’ll get it while slaying the dragons for the main story.

Another opportunity is to unlock it from Side Quest: Readvent of Calamity where Sigurd will appear to fight a dragon alongside you. After unlocking it you change to this vocation at any Guild Hall, for example in Bakbattahl or Vernworth.

The Trickster vocation is unlocked automatically from the story, during Main Quest: Flickering Shadows, after completing the objectives to speak with the Dragonforged and the Oracle.
You can then change to this vocation at any Guild Hall, for example in Bakbattahl or Vernworth.

The Magick Archer vocation is unlocked as a quest reward from Side Quest: Put a Spring in Thy Step. Simply complete this quest to get it.

You can then change to this vocation at any Guild Hall, for example in Bakbattahl or Vernworth.

The Warfarer vocation is unlocked as a quest reward from Side Quest: The Sotted Sage. Simply complete this quest to get it.

You can then change to this vocation at any Guild Hall, for example in Bakbattahl or Vernworth.
A House? In This Economy?

This achievement is a reward for completing Side Quest: A Place to Call Home.

It starts in Vernworth, by talking to a girl at the road south of Stardrop Inn. If she's not there rest at a bench and she'll appear. You must visit her house, then sleep for 7 days in her bed, the she offers you to purchase her house for 20,000 gold. Buy iy to unlock the achievement.

Also you can buy a house for 30,000 in the 2nd capital city Bakbattahl, by talking to a woman in the north of that city.

One Speed Only

Oxcarts are a great way to travel to cities safely. They cost money and you must wait for them to arrive in cities but are worth the cost if you don’t want troublesome combat.

This achievement is earned when you first board an oxcart on your own, it doesn’t count the oxcart during Main Quest #3: In Dragon’s Wake. So you have to find any of it and use it.
The Savior

Wakestones are rare items that you can find or create from Wakestone Shards. They can resurrect fallen humans or pawns if too much time has passed. A simple resurrection is enough to get this achievement.
Just a Stone's Throw Away

Ferrystones are rare items you can buy for 10,000 G at provision stores or find in chests. You can travel to any Portcrystal you find in the world with them. Use one to travel to any Portcrystal to get this achievement. While you can always get more, keep in mind you don’t get a Ferrystone back after using it.
A Badge of Honor

Badges themselves represent a Pawn’s experience with certain monsters and regions. There are two types of Badges: Monster Badges and Field Badges. You can view the Badges your Pawn is working towards in the Status menu for your Pawn (and other Pawns in your party).

Earning a Monster Badge requires your Pawn to be involved in fights with certain dangerous creatures, like Ogres, Minotaurs, or Griffons. Upon defeating a creature, they will advance along that creature’s Badge by one point. When they complete a Badge, they will become more effective and knowledgeable about killing that creature, becoming an asset to any party.

Earning a Field Badge requires your Pawn to camp in a certain region numerous times. Upon earning this Badge, they will become much more knowledgeable of that region and will be able to help out other players by pointing out secrets and beneficial advice. If another player is to go adventuring in that region, they will desire the aid of your Pawn.

You can streamline the process by requesting another player to help your Pawn advance in a certain Badge that they’ve already started. In the request section, choose a Badge that your Pawn is already working on, and upon your next inn visit, they’ll hopefully be another step closer to achieving that Badge.
Off with Its Head! / Getting a Head / An Eye for an Eye

These three achievements related together in one sequence, so you can unlock them one by one.

Medusa is a secret boss that lives in a cave called Calignious Depths on south of Bakbattahl. That’s in the desert region south of the border.

You have to get a Medusa head by cutting it off. It’s hyglhy recommended for you do this while playing Thief vocation. Immediately when the fight starts climb up to her head and do normal melee attacks. Repeat this until her head falls off. Do not use any other attacks, only melee while at her head.

To get the Preserved Medusa Head item you have to decapitate her head while she’s near full health, during her first or second health bar. This will unlock Getting a Head and Off with Its Head! achievements. If Medusa took too much damage you will only get the regular (non-Preserved) Medusa Head so you will have to rest for 14 days in Bakbattahl and come back when she respawns, so you can keep retrying it.

Then you have to do all very quickly: Immediately travel back to Bakbattahl and put the Preserved Medusa Head into storage. This can be done at the Pilgrim’s Inn by talking to the Innkeeper. Items in the storage don’t perish. It’s best to place a Portcrystal in Bakbattahl and use a Ferrystone to teleport back there immediately so that the Medusa head doesn’t rot in your inventory.

After putting the Preserved Medusa Head into storage, rest on the bench outside Bakbattahl’s Pilgrim’s Inn for 14 days. Skip through 14 nights to make all enemies respawn, including Medusa.

Now take back Preserved Medusa Head from storage. Quickly run back to Medusa’s lair where you fought her, do not rest along the way and don’t waste any time. Medusa will have respawned.

In the inventory click “Equip” on Preserved Medusa Head. This will put the head on your belt like a lantern, open inventory a second time and click on it again, select “Brandish” to hold the head. Now aim the head at her to petrify her and unlock the last achievement.
Master of the Maisters

Maister’s Teachings are the most powerful skills that can be acquired by each vocation. Learning a maister’s teaching requires the use of a special tome, which you will receive if you impress the Vocation-Maister with your abilities. However, the true potential of this skill can only be realized by those whose vocation rank is high enough.

Maister’s Teaching 1: Fighter Maister
Reach maximum affinity with Lennart, located in Melve. Talk to him and he’ll give you Soldier’s Code tome to learn Riotous Fury. You can max his affinity immediately by completing side quest Readvent of Calamity, then speak with him again immediately after and he should give the Soldier’s Code tome for learning Riotous Fury. If you have trouble getting the side quest you can make gifts instead of raising his affinity through the side quest.
Maister’s Teaching 2: Thief Maister (Fake)
Find Flaude, located in Nameless Village far east of Vernworth. He is located in the Old Noble Manor building at the top of the village.

Pick up the Folded Letter in a house early in the village to give an extra dialogue option, possibly what causes him to give Legend’s Opus item for learning Blades of the Pyre.
Maister’s Teaching 3: Thief Maister (Real)
Found during The Nameless Village side quest, required to be interacted with to progress the story. Gives Pilferer’s Handbook item for learning Formless Feint.
Maister’s Teaching 4: Archer Maister
Find Taliesin, first complete Gift of the Bow and A Trial of Archery side quests. After waiting at least a day you can then return to the Sacred Arbor village and speak with Taliesin who should be located in the Arborist’s Home building (make sure you have a pawn with “Woodland Wordsmith” specialization) and he will give the Hunter’s Secret tome, which unlocks the Heavenly Shot ability.
Maister’s Teaching 5: Warrior Maister
Find Beren, complete Claw Them Into Shape and Beren’s Final Lesson side quests, then Beren will move to the location Beren’s Childhood Home just south of the Checkpoint Rest Town. Speak with him there to receive Champion’s Fable. If you lost the duel with him earlier you will need to raise his affinity before he gives you the tome, either by completing an escort or giving him items.
Maister’s Teaching 6: Mage Maister
Complete Spellbound by giving Trysha all 5 real books, then speak to her again immediately after and she’ll give Conjurer’s Jottings.
Maister’s Teaching 7: Sorcerer Maister
Complete Spellbound by giving Trysha all 5 real books, then speak with Eini immediately after to receive Enchanter’s Almanac.
Maister’s Teaching 8: Second Sorcerer Maister
Can be obtained during Side Quest: Sorcerer’s Appraisal
Maister’s Teaching 9: Trickster Maister
Find Luz, located at the Reverent Shrine in Battahl. Speak with her downstairs to unlock the Trickster vocation, then climb the ladder on the back left corner of the building to reach the rooftop. Walk around to the front of the rooftop to encounter Luz in her physical form, where she will give the Theurgist’s Rite tome, which unlocks the Dragon’s Delusion ability.
Maister’s Teaching 10: Mystic Spearhand Maister
Find Sigurd, after defeating the dragon with him at Dragonsbreath Tower, southwest of Bakbattahl. You can either defeat the dragon on your own or during the Main Quest: A New Godsway, after which he will give you Paladin’s Enigmata, which unlocks the Wild Furie ability.
Maister’s Teaching 11: Magick Archer Maister
Find Cliodhna, complete Put a Spring in Thy Step, which will unlock the Magick Archer vocation and Cliodhna should immediately speak to you again and give you Spellbow’s Paradox, which unlocks the Martyr’s Bolt ability.
Maister’s Teaching 12: Warfarer Maister
Find Lamond, complete The Sotted Sage, which will unlock the Warfarer vocation and Lamond should immediately speak to you again and give you Grandmaster’s Path, which unlocks the Rearmament ability.
The Specialist

For this you must Reach Rank 9 in any vocation (character class). This is done by simply playing as one vocation and defeating enemies.
A Pawn of Many Talents

To get a Pawn specialization you must get a blue tome. To obtain it you have to complete Side Quest: Medicament Predicament. You will meet little girl named Flora as the quest giver again later in Vernworth, where she will give you the blue scroll as a reward. As soon as you use this, the achievement should pop up.
Dragon Forged

First you must buy the regular 3 weapon upgrades, which can be done at any weapon vendor. The weak starting weapons are the cheapest to upgrade and only require common resources.

Then for the secret 4th upgrade you must go to the Dragonforged. He is found north of Bakbattahl in a cave called Bay Wayside Shrine

You will automatically talk to him for a main story objective in Main Quest 12: Flickering Shadows, but can return to him anytime. For the upgrade he wants Wyrmlife Crystals. These are obtained by slaying and looting dragons. Each dragon drops 10-15 of these. Refer to Dragon
Harpy Joyride

Use Harpysnare Smoke Beacon to lure Harpies to your location. Thus item temporarily summons a friendly Harpy that you can grapple to reach a higher platform. The summoned Harpy is then dismissed after the grappling.
Quit Playing Dead

To unlock this achievement it is enough when two your pawns fall in battle next to each other. Reviving one of them revives the one that is next to him. Revives don’t cost anything. You will most likely get this naturally early on, if not you can get it against strong enemies or larger enemy groups by bringing low-level pawns that die quickly.
Before Dawn Breaks

There are two ways to meet him.
  • In the default moored world, where he can appear randomly anywhere at night only. Complete luck, just travel a lot at night until you find him.
  • Arrive in the unmoored world. Here he is almost always on the Moonswax Bridge.

The Regriffining

This achievement takes us back to the very beginning of the game where Arisen flies on the back of a griffin. To unlock this achievement you need to climb onto a griffin back during combat and hold it until it takes off and flyes away.

Griffins sometimes sleep in their nests. One nest is located northeast of the Reverent Shrine, in the north of Battahl desert region.

To the Victor Go the Spoils

The easiest way to do this is to follow the path north from the Checkpoint Rest Town. Turn right at the first fork in the path. Here you will come to a cave with harpies and scavengers.

In order for the Scavenger to steal from you, the Harpy must put you to sleep. As soon as you fall asleep, a scavenger comes and steals an item from you. Now you have to kill him to unlock the achievement.

If the Pawn kills the enemies too quickly, it is advisable to unequip the pawn’s weapons, or simply kill the main pawn by throwing it off a cliff and dismissing the hired pawns.
Wish upon the Rift

When you interact with a Riftstone in the capital cities Vernworth or Bakbattahl, you can set a Pawn Quest. If this is grayed out you must sleep once at an inn (or in the bed in your house if you bought one) while your main pawn is alive. Then the game will check if your pawn has completed the pawn quest and gives you the reward for it.
Full Marks / Reaper's Scorn

This one is totally missable, cause ruining any riddle blocks this achievement so you'll have to load your previous save or start new game.

Sphinx is found in Ancient Battleground (northeast of Checkpoint Rest Town) in the north of it go through the destroyed fortress area and past the big troll miniboss to enter “Worldsend Cave”. Go all the way through to the end to reach “Mountain Shrine” and there at the end of the path on the hilltop you find the Sphinx.

Your task here is to solve 10 different riddles. Before reaching Sphinx you have to do these tips to save your time and make it easier to solve the riddles:
  • For one of the riddles you will need to bring a pawn called “SphinxMother” or “SphinxFather” or “SphinxParent” made by Capcom, not by other players.
  • Change to Archer vocation, you will need it to use the Unmaking Arrow to kill the Sphinx after solving all 10 riddles
  • Remember and mark anyhow the location of your first found Seeker Token in this playthrough
RIddle Name
Solution
The Riddle of Eyes
The Sphinx asks you to go into the room downstairs, and asks you to bring back the most valuable item in that area.

Immediately after entering through the door, turn around and look up. You’ll see a chest above the entrance door. Go up the path next to the door and open the chest to get “Sealing Phial.” This is the correct item you must give to the Sphinx. DO NOT CONSUME IT BEFORE PRESENTING IT FOR THE RIDDLE. The bottle is one use only, so if you consume it you can no longer solve the riddle for this playthrough.
The Riddle of Madness
The Sphinx is asking you to bring a person to it, who is “your most beloved”. The easiest solution is to present your main pawn. Simply carry your main pawn and put it on the platform in front of the Sphinx. Then talk to the Sphinx and choose to respond to the riddle to solve it.

It also works if you put a character you have romanced, but putting your main pawn is the quickest solution.
The Riddle of Wisdom
For this you must find any pawn called “SphinxParent” or “SphinxFather” or “SphinxMother” found inside Riftstones and MADE BY CAPCOM. Recruit one of them and put that pawn on the platform in front of the Sphinx, then talk to the Sphinx to offer the pawn as the riddle solution.
The Riddle of Conviction
This riddle is just the Sphinx asking you to present it with any item, with the Sphinx acting like you aren’t going to get it back. It is recommended you give it a highly valuable unique item because you will get a copy of the item you presented as a reward in the chest along with giving back what you presented. This riddle has no wrong answers cause literally any item you give will solve the riddle.
The Riddle of Rumination
For this riddle, the Sphinx is asking you to return to the very first spot where you picked up a Seeker Token in this playthrough. There is no way to track this, you need to have noted which one you found first and return to it. When you arrive at the location, you’ll see what appears to be the Seeker Token back in that spot, but when picked up is a unique item called a Finder’s Token. Bring this back and give it to the Sphinx.

If you don’t remember where you found your first Seeker Token in this playthrough, it will reset in New Game+ and will count the first Seeker Token location you find during the New Game+ playthrough.

Once you have completed the first five riddles, the Sphinx says it is leaving for a second location and you need to find it again to continue playing. If you are quick enough you can climb onto its back before it flies away and ride it to the spot, but if you don’t you can then reach the new location “Frontier Shrine” by going through the river leading west under the Checkpoint Rest Town. Here the Sphinx has another five riddles for you, but keep in mind that the order of riddles at the second location is randomized. If you get them in a different order simply do them in the order they are given.

RIddle Name
Solution
The Riddle of Reunion
This riddle is automatically solved upon finding the Sphinx in this second location.
The Riddle of Futility
The Sphinx will give you a vase that you must bring to NPC in Bakbattahl. Do not break the vase, this will fail the riddle. It's much easier to bring NPC to vase, so place a Portcrystal at the Sphinx, travel to Bakbattahl and go north to “Mural Byway”. There you find a NPC called “Maurits”. Grab him and use a Ferrystone to teleport back to the Portcrystal at the Sphinx. Drop him off next to the vase (be careful not to destroy the vase)
The Riddle of Differentiation
The Sphinx will show you the image of an NPC it wants you to find and bring back to it. Watch very carefully here, pay attention to the hairstyle if the character has straight hair or curly hair.

You will need to bring back the correct person: either Dante or Vergil (DMC Reference lol). They look almost identical, the key difference being their hairstyle. Dante has straight hair, Vergil has curly hair.

Before looking for them, make sure you have placed a Portcrystal at the Sphinx (reward from 2nd riddle). Then you can carry the person and use a Ferrystone to teleport back to the Sphinx instantly.

They are both in Checkpoint Rest Town.
  • Dante walks in the part of town north of the border at day. He usually walks outside the shops.
  • Vergil walks in the part of town south of the border at day. He usually walks up and down the path where the Oxcart Station is south of the gate.
Approach the correct character, pick him up to carry him, then bring that person back to the Sphinx. Then while carrying the person use a Ferrystone to teleport back with him to the Sphinx if you placed a Portcrystal there.
The Riddle of Contest
Sphinx will spawn an enemy and automatically equip you with a ring that makes you deal no damage. To solve this riddle you have to kill an enemy. Grab and throw him off the cliff to solve the riddle.
The Riddle of Recollection
To the left of the Sphinx are some stone statues. You must pick up and place on the ground in front of the Sphinx the amount of statues that corresponds to how many riddles you solved correctly so far.

If this is your last riddle and you answered all 9 previous riddles correctly, then you must put 9 statues in front of the Sphinx, then talk to it again to confirm. Remember that finding the Sphinx’s second location counts as a riddle too. The order of riddles is randomized so you must adjust for that.

You can see how many you solved by the amount of Sphinx Reward Chests that are unlocked. So if you have 9 chests unlocked (5 at first location, 4 at second location) you must put 9 statues.

For Reaper's Scorn achievement you must kill the Sphinx to get the item that is needed for the achievement. After solving all riddles, talk to the Sphinx and she’ll try to fly away. Do not let Sphinx do this or you’ll miss this achievement and need another playthrough to unlock it.

If you changed your vocation to archer as I mentioned before, then you can instakill Sphinx by shooting her with the Unmaking Arrow, she is guaranteed to die completely and drops the key plus 10,000 Gold.

Use the key to open her big gold chest to get the item "Eternal Wakestone". Use Eternal Wakestone in a morgue to revive multiple people at once. This counts as performing a miracle for several people and unlocks this achievement.
The Philanthropist/Affinity and Beyond

Each time you give gifts and help NPCs, you can raise their affinity to let them treat you favorably. This helps for getting discounts or other benefits as you explore. From the start of your playthrough try to help as much NPCs that you can until you unlock the achievement. Head into the menu and check the NPC Logbook section to see what your relationship level is with each NPC to track your achievement progress there.

Most reliable methods to reach max affinity:
  • Give 2 Wyrmslife Crystals to a person. They are unlocked by slaying and looting dragons.Talk to a person, give gift (not everyone accepts gifts but most vendors do), sleep 24 hours, give another Wyrmslife Crystal.
  • Complete Ulrika’s side quests: Scaly Invaders, Readvent of Calamity, Trouble on the Cape and Home Is Where the Hearth Is to max her affinity.
  • This achievement also can be earned by sleeping with the same person three times in the Rose Chateau. It doesn’t matter who you choose.
Cyclops Abridged

To cross a Cyclops bridge, you have to get a Cyclops to stumble off the edge and hold on to the opposite side. An easy way to provoke this is to travel to the Ancient Battleground and climb up to the castle wall in the north of the area.

There is a Cyclops dangerously close to the edge. It is best to hit him in the leg or jump onto the opposite side and wait until the cyclops jumps over too. In most cases, however, this fails and he has to hold on. Once he forms the bridge, you just have to run over to get the achievement.

The Tourist

You will get this achievement naturally just by playing the game: explore the world, complete quests, look for bosses and loot. Sooner or later this achievement will be yours.
Hope You Brought a Lantern

Drabnir’s Grotto is location that found by following the path southwest of Bakbattahl. It’s at the southern end of the Battahl desert area and connects the Battahl region to the Volcanic Island region.
Enter the grotto and the achievement will unlock immediately.

The Collector

Dragon’s Dogma 2 contains 240 Seeker Token Locations. They are the main collectibles in the game. Finding 80 of 240 Seeker Tokens unlocks the The Collector trophy. The remaining 160 are optional and not required for trophies/achievements.

Use my other guide to find all tokens and obtein the achievement.

This'll Cure What Ails Ye

Hot springs can be found in Agamen Volcanic Island, which is all the way at the southern part of the world map. Although this only restores your HP up to the grey threshold, you do receive an attack buff.

Name
The Barbecue-Maister

You can grill meat at campfires. For this you also need a Camping Kit. Campfires are found along the main paths on the map, they get marked by an icon when going near them. Camping Kits can be bought from merchants in the bigger towns, or found in the world/from quest rewards. Before sleeping at the campfire, interact with the campfire itself to select a meat you want to grill. Grilling Meat gives you passive stat boosts so it’s good to do this every time you rest. You can switch between day and night by sleeping at the camp. Then you can immediately camp again to grill another meat.

You should obtain every type of meat from natural gameplay sooner or later. Meat is frequently dropped by large enemies, from wildlife, or found around towns in people’s houses. Meat will rot in your inventory over time. The “rotten” versions must be grilled too. If you want to preserve meat, put it in your storage. Items in the storage don’t perish. You can access the storage at some inns, for example at the inn in Vernworth next to Stardrop Inn. Alternatively, you can buy a house and find a storage chest there.

Scrag of Beast
Harvested from certain beasts, such as ogres, also from boars
Aged Scrag of Beast
Let “Scrag of Beast” sit in your inventory until it turns to “Aged” version. Usually takes 1 day, can also rest to age it.
Rotten Scrag of Beast
Picked up from killing rats or allow Scrag of Beast to rot in your inventory. Takes multiple days to rot, can also rest to speed it up.
Dried Meat
Given as quest rewards, especially from Culling Requests (aid people under attack along the roads), or crafted from combining 2 x Aged Scrag of Beast in your inventory
Equisiste Dried Meat
Crafted by combining 2 x Aged Beast-Steak
Beast-Steak
Dropped by large wolverine animals (giants with 2 health bars, found along the path west of Vernworth), sometimes dropped by wild animals like pigs and deer
Aged Beast-Steak
Let “Beast-Steak” sit in your inventory until it turns to the “Aged” version. Usually takes 1 day, can also rest to age it.
Rotten Beast-Steak
Let “Beast-Steak” sit in your inventory until it turns to the “Rotten” version. Takes multiple days, can also rest to rot it.
Thought I’d Lost You

For this achievement you have to get yourself a wakestone. Wakestones allow you to get back up and keep fighting after you die in Dragon’s Dogma 2. These stones also have the ability to bring villagers or key NPCs back from the dead on the off chance you accidentally kill someone important.

In order to make a Wakestone, you’ll need to combine three Wakestone Shards. These shards are scattered all around the world of Dragon’s Dogma 2, and you’ll find them in treasure chests, on rooftops, and other random places during your travels. Basically, they’re all over the place, and there isn’t an easy way to farm them.

If you’re desperate for some Wakestone Shards, you can use a consumable item called Dragon’s Gaze — another kind of item you’ll find out in the world sometimes, to mark the nearest Wakestone Shard on your map.

So once you have wakestone go to morgue or charnel house to revive a dead NPC. The achievement should pop up as soon as you do this.
Are We There Yet?

This one unlocks after finishing Side Quest: The Phantom Oxcart.

To start this quest, you first need to reach the second capital city Bakbattahl, then return to Vermund. You can have this quest start from various places by encountering talking NPCs, but the easiest spot is to go to the West Vernworth Oxcart Station in Vernworth.

During this side quest you must unquip all of your weapons/armor, talk to the Phantom Oxcart driver, then enter the back of his oxcart to get the achievement.
Plenty Arisen to Go Round

Raise max affinity for two different NPC characters. Choose any villagers who are walking around or sitting in their houses and make gifts until you raise their affinity to max for both of them. Then just stand in front of your house. Eventually your love interests will come over to make you gifts. If they run into each other, they will start fist fighting. This fight triggers the achievement to pop.

If you have enough Seeker’s Tokens, you can exchange them at a Vocation guild for the Eternal Bond ring, which gives you a significant affinity boost with whoever you gift it to. So this also can help to get max affinity level with NPC.

Another easy way to max affinity with NPC is to gift a Wyrmslife Crystal. Each Wyrmslife Crystal increases Affinity by 50%, so giving two maxes out affinity to 100%.

FYI. The Philanthropist, The Barbecue-Maister and The Colector Achievements carry over to your new game+. meaning that You don't have to worry about the progress of the achievements, just be sure to remember how many people you have befriended, how many steak you cooked and how many Seeker Tokens you have found.

I cannot stress the importance of this enough... No matter how cool it is do not stop the Gigantus with Medusa's head. It will lock you out of the I Talos achievement causing you to have to run all the way through the game...again... for 100% completion. Does it make sense? Yes. Am I still pissed. Yes. At least on NG+ I can speed through and have all the things I hunted for previously already done.

thank you, do you know if i need to wait for the previous meats buffs to wear off before i cook another?
XEALEEN  [author] 5 Apr @ 5:01pm
7 types of meat to cook for night and the same types of meat to cook for day, so 14 total
Tarnished 5 Apr @ 4:30pm
just to be clear, do you have to cook every meat twice? once during the day and once at night? i just did every meat once and it did not work... and i didnt check off what time

Nope, just a tip based on info and articles from people who had the opportunity to play enough before the release
