Guide for the owners of Intel Core >= 12xxx (with Performance and Efficiency cores)
1. Delete everything from the folder steamapps\common\Detroit Become Human\ShaderCache\
2. Start the game, it should show a black screen and a progress of the first stage of shader compilation
3. While the black screen is shown, quickly switch to Task Manager
4. Go to the Details tab and find DetroitBecomeHuman.exe
5. Right-click it and select Set Affinity
6. Uncheck All Processors and check the first 8 or fewer, starting with CPU 0 (several but not all P-cores), click OK
7. The compilation process should now get past the black screen to the main part where it was previously failing, and now past that part allowing you to start the game

Enjoy the game!

Repeat as required, likely on every update of the graphics driver.
