Cool list, but it's no longer important. They stripped the penalty out of the anti-piracy but left the cue in. It doesn't matter whether you pick the correct one or not anymore.

Favorited and thank you for posting this. I lost my copy of the manual from when I bought the game for my mac, yes 30+ years ago. Games today lost the charm this game still has. MOO2 was an effort at the more modern game ideas that has made it into some weird PVP cult but wasn't the game the MOOI community was looking for, and MOO3 GAIA was just beyond the notion of failure. Devs lot track and wanted to make the sequel to SimCity apparently

I hate this old school so-called "copy protection". It doesn't work, plus it's annoying. And some of the ships aren't even on this list. Like this one I currently have to deal with for example. It's not there on the list. It looks similar to the Kraken but it isn't the Kraken. And why can't comments have screenshots too? Posting screenshots is a basic feature in comments.
