AKMS - Cleaner metal and Wood

Beskrivning
This AKMS is meant to have a much more cleaned-up appearance compared to the vanilla while still looking like a regular old AK; no fancy camos or tritium sights here. It comes with new wood grips, metal parts that have had most of their dirt wiped off and a blackened magazine.

The wood replacements for the fore-end and handgrip are walnut textured and they have a new normal map applied. The metal parts have been shifted slightly to a bluish hue to help it look less worn down. The bolt carrier, charging handle and rear sight have been made a little darker too, plus I have removed the white dot indentations on the rear sight and made it a smooth black surface instead.

This package includes the first person normal map and world texture. I didn't alter the normal map for the world model, sorry! But who stares at those anyway?

The matching foregrip texture has been separated into another workshop file just in case.

Hey, I have a question: I recently imported Insurgency's AKMS onto L4D2 as a replacement for the AK47 (http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=374876411) . I'm wondering, do I have your permission to use your texture for, say, an alternate version, provided I give you proper credits?

The 74 huh. Been making use of the black plastic ones cause that just feels right by me, but maybe I'll try making a 74 with this particular wood texture.

If the Russians thought the AK needed more grip, they'd tape hand to the gun.

Nah I wanted to keep the thing as simple as possible. If I ever get done with the RPK I might try adding in some proper grip texturing / stippling to this, but it will only ever be seen in the loadout screen and world model...
