Consistently Scaled UI

Beskrivelse
Ever found it ugly that some UI graphics just have double the resolution compared to most other sprites around them?

Using some (slightly tweaked) textures from the Polaris UI Pack by Orion and my incredible artistic talent, this pack changes the culprits in question to make them adhere to the scale used by most other UI graphics in the game; the culprits in question being:
  • The little buttons in the Player & World Select UI
  • The Buttons at the top of the Bestiary (Filter, Sorting, Flip Page, Search Button)
  • The Rarity Stars in the Bestiary
Also included is a little bonus graphical tweak as seen on the last screenshot!

I'm ok with Polaris textures being used here since proper credit is given.
Also, good pack, I'll be using this

I ran this pack again with the original 20x18 star. The star resprite still does not appear and is instead vanilla's star. I thought I didn't need to mention this since the game uses the same sprite for both areas but the star resprite doesn't appear in the npc display area as well. I played with exactly the same setup below, although I should correct that it was 1.4.4.9 that is the latest version, not 1.4.4.6.

@CatJat it has been a hot minute since I checked in on this. while I need to check on this again, I can tell you that I played this on vanilla and on the latest version of terraria (1.4.4.6 If memory serves). as for PC it's a Lenovo Desktop computer with windows 10, the specs I will have to check later.

Weird, Steam didn't give me a notification for your comments, so it took a bit for me to notice them.

What's even weirder is that I can't reproduce your issue. It loads fine for me using the included 20x18 texture (even though the original is 14x14, as you said), both on the filter button and in the little frame where the NPCs are displayed. Does it display the stars correctly in the little frame? Because then the whole "the game doesn't accept it" shebang becomes weirder since it then partially accepts them.

Else, I'm a little stumped on what could be causing that. Is it something specific to your PC? Is there a different version of Terraria you're somehow playing that has different behavior? Are you playing with this pack enabled in tModLoader where a random mod unexpectedly overwrites that image?

I edited the star a bit, it appears that the game does not except the star as a valid sprite. this pack's star is 20x18, while the original is a 14x14

I checked the bestiary and saw that the star on the filter does not change for some reason, and setting this pack as number one priority did not fix it.
