This is the case for bigger meteors, but there are smaller meteors that don't really have a sign of where they're going to hit that is the problem. I rarely die to these big ones. It's the small ones that kill me out of nowhere. And they said they will improve it.

uhhh i dont know what difficulty your playing, or you have a mod, or perhaps you were playing at night time.... but my game does not highlight the impact zone lol

They look and sound awesome. Not sure why people cry about it like they want the game to be dull and boring or something.
