If you're like me, you may have been playing through as normal when, without understanding why or what comes next, you receive a unique offering.

I'm not sure how common such a mistake is, but it sure did happen to me! This guide explains how the weapon spawns as well as the new gameplay option it provides.

When you defeat a Boss, they drop a Star. There are three abilities you can purchase and upgrade with Stars: Peer, Drain, and a yellow active ability that differs by character.

Drain is a movable window that deals periodic damage to enemies in its box. (Technically you can "peer" with it too but it's not a very big window.) There's an odd looking marking on its side.


If you move the window towards that marking, you'll find a red pattern like the one in the window. Slotting it into place re-titles the window "drain!".


Peer is a movable window that lets you see someplace else. The eye in the center seems to be focusing on something itself, though.


Like with Drain, if you move it where it's indicating, it'll lock in and become "peer!"


If both Drain and Peer are in their respective slots, the art of Peer looks a little different - a dotted outline for a pupil, and a yellow glow.

Positioning yourself at the dotted circle causes the yellow to brighten - use your active ability now. This will grant you the unique weapon and scrape the yellow paint off of Peer.

Charge that Orb to maximum - it'll flash and make a noise when it's ready. Once you release, you'll have done it! That window is so killed.


You'll just need to escape into the vast new world, and then everything will be wrapped up!
