Popis
The Mk.4 Euclid is an extremely efficient cargo ferry CV. Using a tail sitter design, her main propulsion for both space fight and landing come from a single large thruster. Most of her volume consist of a massive hangar capable of carrying all manner of vessels.

Her unusual hull form aside, the Euclid is really a quite mundane cargo ship. Power from a single large generator is enough for her propulsion and T1 shield systems. Mini and sentry guns fend off most drone and ground hostiles. 640k units of cargo storage and an advanced constructor make her a decent hauler and support ship in T2.

Her main capability is her hangar and takeoff power. As a tail sitter ship, the Euclid's helmsman sits perpendicular to the rest of the ship and essentially backs up to planets to land. This means needing to only focus thrust in one direction. Additional lifting thrusters for planetary flight are unnecessary. This does mean she relies on her carried vessels for planetary operations, but with so much room and power to work with, this is hardly a burden.

This is not a do-everything ship. It's a do-one-thing-brokenly-well ship. She's not even very expensive, needing no optronics and only tiny amounts of exotic materials. An ambitious player could even use a Euclid for a starter CV, one they will probably never need to replace.

One note about grow plots. She doesn't come with any. If you decide to install some, I'd recommend putting them in the ventral hangar wall. They'll have to go in perpendicular to gravity, but they'll still work just fine.
