Treason main usage is for any "funny" button, secondary usage is retrive your Scythe for next turn.

nvm saw the comment explaining treason, that makes sense! I think! Gotta see if I can test that out reliably for catches but other than that wahoo Treason figured out.

Update: This might be the most fun character to play in yomih when you get going, which is literally as easy as "get them to block a hit." Just perfect at what he does without being too powerful outside of it. Hell I've even overcome my skill issues fighting him myself, since he does actually have pretty notable weaknesses to setup and some projectiles, just have to get around that or something. Only things I wonder the purpose of are moves like cataclysm, which is extremely situational and the ice shard UI showing on both the turn you use it and after it, but only mattering the second time is odd. Also Treason, which I cannot for the life of me get the counter it does to make sense. I think it's move length based and only when they're using a normal or special? It's been explained before and I still don't get exactly when I should try it other thaan seeing it on prediction but other than that, fucking awesome character.

That's actually really helpful, thanks, will keep that in mind for next match I have with Tyrant.

You just throw hitbox at him something like f6 or 7 poke would be safe at midrage, guardbreaks are generally quicker than his Scythe move that could bypass their armor, try push block more under block string because he only have guardbreak when full freeze or installed, throw setplay at him can stop him from charging Bombard, etc.

these options are built around vanilla characters, a number of characters from workshop might not have 1 or 2 crucial tools to stop one of his gameplan, in this case one can pray

Skill issue for me but damn this guy has not been the most pleasant to fight against so far, still figuring out how the hell to even approach someone who has any idea what they're doing.
