1920x1080 is not supported, any resolution with a height higher than 1024px is not supported and you may need to play it windowed (if the resolution is not supported natively).

Guide

Download the resolution changer from this URL bit(DOT)ly/2Ch6CDA then extract it in the Doomsday folder
Press maiusc and right click on an empty spot in the folder,
Select open command window here
In the cmd insert "Hoi2ResChanger hoi2.exe XXX YYY" XXX YYY is your resolution,
in my case 1920 x 1024 because I'm playing it with the windowed mode and as I've said in the disclaimer 1024 is the height limit
Go into your gfx folder and create a .bmp called load_user
note the dimension, it should be the same used in the patch

dont work for me sadly got load_user.bmp in the right resu and the patcher is same done

Cannot get the link to download. Created multiple new "load_user" in .bmp, but cannot edit the resolutions without the link. :(

right click on an empty space on the folder
new - bitmap image
