How to Do Upload Your Stock Icon
Stock Icons and how to add custom ones to your Smack Studio characters.

Stocks icons are displayed above the character's damage % in every match. The default stock icon is a white circle, and because we can all agree we don't like looking at it, here is how to change it. This is the method for changing your stock icon for any reason, be it the white circle or missing parts of your character's head that you want to put in your stock icon.

  • Go to Smack Studio in your Steam Library.
  • Click on the settings cog.
  • Hover over "Manage" and select "Browse Local Files".
  • Go to SmackStudio -> Data -> Characters_custom and select your character's file.
  • Delete the file that is named "stockIcon".
  • Replace that file with your desired stock icon. Make sure to rename your file to "stockIcon" exactly, keeping in mind the capital I in Icon.

Other Notes

  • Stock icons should not be large. I recommend just using the sprite(s) for your character's head.
  • After you change your character's files, all you have to do is re-finalize and upload them to steam for the changes to take effect.

On the size part I recommend saying that they shouldn't be over 1000x1000 for performance reasons. Since alot of people like to mix up their stock icons. But thanks for yhe guide this'll be very helpful for alot of people.
