Introduction

This guide has been written under the assumption the player has finished the game once with any of the final (non-"bad") endings, and thus, contains spoilers concerning the story. Events which occur after the final save point (in Hades) have been designated with a "Major Spoilers" warning.

Completing the gallery will require multiple playthroughs. In the December 2023 update, a chapter select was added to New Game+, making this feat more easily attainable.

There are eighty-six unlockable images in the Gallery found on the main menu. This guide details how to unlock all of them, primarily for the purpose of attaining full completion, though it includes those which are mandatory in all playthroughs for the sake of thoroughness.

For a more detailed explanation of the formatting, please read the explanation directly below this section. The content has been written to be clear without it, but doing so may be useful if you wish to use this guide for more than simply a few image entries.
Formatting Explanation

All of the stills representative of the gallery art are marked with spoilers, not just for improved readability, but also to encourage unlocking the images for oneself in-game by not having them immediately spoiled here.

For each entry in this guide, there are two images included:
  • The first shows the location where the image can be found.

  • The second appears as a spoiler rectangle, which, upon being hovered over, will reveal the associated gallery art to the right of the first image.

The entries are denoted with a number of two digit length, where numbers are typically written out as words in text bodies in order to make searching with the "Ctrl / Cmd + F" function as seamless as possible.

Each image entry includes a descriptive, unofficial title made by me, in addition to parenthesized text denoting whether unlocking the image is mandatory to reach any of the endings. There may also be additional notes I've included when an image that should be obtained first appears after those which follow on the list.

Although I've tried to stick to the order in which they are presented in the Gallery to the best of my ability, there are cases where listing them out of order makes following along easier. I am sorry if you find the ordering confusing and can only suggest you use Find search to alleviate this problem. Some images, namely the regalias, are listed twice due to being obtainable in a certain chapter but being listed much later.

In order to achieve certain routes/outcomes with their own gallery entries, it will be useful to know ahead of time how certain choices will influence later scenes. For this, I highly recommend consulting this Detailed Ending Requirements Guide alongside this one:

(Temporary Note)
(As of 28/08/2024, I intend on adding additional content to this guide as well as revising many parts of currently what exists---mostly styling. I will generally try to make the content more consistent, understandable, and informative where I think it may be lacking. I also have to add two missing ways to collect images which are already listed: going with Harpae to get the button for Bad Ending No. 2 and the Wax Record V drawing which can also be found in the Dusk reception room. This may be done over the course of the next few months, and I will leave this note here for as long as I am undergoing this process. Thank you for your understanding.)

Chapter 0 ~ Prologue
01
Wall Mirror with Marble on Ground
(Mandatory)

Upon starting the game, there is a mirror in the center of the room. Since one cannot progress without interacting with it and collecting the marble, this should be unlocked playing the game naturally.

02
Compass Drawing on Door
(Mandatory)

In the south room of the prologue area, this drawing of a compass will be found on the exit door. Although this is labeled two, it will be collected after three.

03
Drawing of Egliette
(Mandatory)

In the south room of the prologue area, this drawing of Egliette will be found in the right corner beside the exit door.

04
Pile of Letters
(Mandatory)

In the east room of the prologue area, there are papers scattered across the desk.

05
Severed Finger on Ground
(Mandatory)

After re-entering the west room of the prologue area, the room will be covered in blood, with the finger of an unknown victim lying on the ground. The riddle found on the wall will not appear until this finger has been interacted with.

06
Water-like Mirror Portal
(Mandatory)

In the final area of the prologue (up the staircase), there is a mirror facing away from the camera that the player enters to pursue the suspicious doll. The unlockable CG shows the effect of the mirror moving like water, though it can be interacted with while still solid (can't confirm if this still unlocks it).

(Note: If needed, be sure to interact with the doll first to add it to the gallery.)

07
Doll on Stool
(Not mandatory until later)

Across from the entrance to the final room of the prologue chapter, there is a conspicuous doll sitting on a stool. Once the book on the upper floor is read, it will no longer be inspectable (for this chapter).

Chapter 1 ~ Egliette
08
Illusion Story #1

In the east room of Red Carpet, there is a bookshelf with an eye insignia at its base. Interacting will unlock images eight to eleven.

09
Illusion Story #2

See entry eight.

 10
Illusion Story #3

See entry eight.

11
Illusion Story #4

See entry eight.

12
"Sisterly" Painting
(Mandatory)

In the west room of Red Carpet (the gallery), there is a painting of a confident woman at the dead end.

13
"Hatred" Painting
(Mandatory)

In the west room of Red Carpet (the gallery), there is a painting of a lady wearing an eye patch directly across from "Sisterly" (the previous entry).

14
Queen Egliette's Dinner Party Menu
(Mandatory)

In the Sugary Supper dining room, a menu of items can be found beside the fireplace in an enclosed area. Interacting will progress the story, but it can still be viewed until leaving the area.

15
Falling CG Cutscene
(Mandatory)

When first entering the ballroom on the floating candle side, there is a chandelier in the center which will affect ?????? once approached, playing a cutscene which unlocks this image.

16
Mr. Ribbon Pumpkin

In Jack-in-the-Box (west Ballroom), a pumpkin can be found near a prize machine who will ask ?????? to use their coin to win a prize for them. After doing this, insist that the pumpkin keep their prize by using it on them from the inventory.

17
Pierced Egliette
(Mandatory)

In the back room of the Queen's Hall, ?????? will immediately be facing what has become of Egliette. She will interact with the scene automatically once close enough.

Chapter 2 ~ Fleta
18
Whispering Delusion

In the tea room of Fleta's Dollhouse, interacting with the table of sweets will initiate a short tea party with Fleta, who will ask for ?????? to show her the pocket mirror for forgiveness. Although given a choice, ?????? will have no say in the matter and see this image of an unknown face while drifting off. This is optional since it is not required for ?????? to enter the tea room to progress.

19
Elise's Letter
(Mandatory)

Although this image appears multiple times throughout the story, finding the letter (Liebesbrief) in Dollhouse will unlock its associated CG in the gallery.

07 (Repeat)
Doll on Stool (Repeat)
(Mandatory)

In the center of Forgotten Attic, the conspicuous doll from the prologue reappears, once more sitting on a stool. This time, interacting with it is mandatory, and doing so will also unlock entry seven (if it was not collected during the prologue.)

20

(Mandatory)

In the center of Forgotten Attic, a book will appear behind ?????? once she glimpses the doll. Interacting will unlock images twenty to twenty-six.

21

26
Witch Story #7

27
Scissor Room Notes

After collecting the scissors behind the locked door in Forgotten Attic, a small passage will reveal itself which contains these cryptic, forgotten notes.

inside

28
Soothing Fleta to Sleep
(Requires meeting conditions for Fleta's Regalia (Egliette as well, but collecting hers is mandatory))

After meeting the requirements for the good/regalia ending of Chapter 2, a scene will play out which will unlock this CG image in the gallery. The regalia can be obtained by winning against Fleta in all three minigames.

(Note: If Bad Ending No. 1 has not been unlocked and is desired, it may be advisable to intentionally lose musical chairs the first time for the image and to then reload for the regalia ending of Chapter 1.)

76
Messer und Gabel
(Requires meeting conditions for Fleta's Regalia (Egliette as well, but collecting hers is mandatory))

After meeting the requirements for the good/regalia ending of Chapter 2, an interaction will play out showing Egliette's regalia to indicate the player has earned it. See entry 28 for how to obtain this regalia.

(Note: Even though collecting Egliette's Regalia is mandatory for progression, its associated image will only appear should Egliette remain intact to interact with ?????? in Rabbit Hole, so Fleta's Regalia is necessary.)

77
Rosen Glöckchen
(Requires meeting conditions for Fleta's Regalia (Egliette as well, but collecting hers is mandatory))

After meeting the requirements for the good/regalia ending of Chapter 2, an interaction will play out showing Fleta's regalia to indicate the player has earned it. See entry 28 for how to obtain this regalia.

80
Porcelain
(Bad Ending No. 1)

During the final game with Fleta, musical chairs, ?????? losing the game will result in the bad ending. Rapidly pressing 'Z' (or whichever button Select is assigned to) will quickly result in this since acting unprompted counts as a loss.

Chapter 3 ~ Harpae
29
Lisette in Mirror Hall
(Mandatory)

After passing by this mirror in the Mirror Hall, the mysterious watcher will begin to make pursuit. This occurs immediately after the corner of a one-use save threshold.

30
Family(?) Photo #1
(Mandatory)

In the library of Secret Manor off Closed Doors, a note will be found at an end of the third (uppermost) floor. Approaching it will cause a book to fall from the shelves, which, upon interacting with, will reveal this photo. Doing this is required for progression.

31
Family(?) Photo #2
(Mandatory; Wax Record II)

In the far southwest room of Closed Doors, a shrine contains a wax record laid before what appears to be a statue dedicated to ??????. Once collected, leave the room to trigger observation of the record's contents—staying in the room too long will lead to ??????'s demise, indicated by the red hue of gradually increasing intensity.

32
Family(?) Photo #3
(Wax Record III)

In the study of Dusk (east room), a wax record can be found among the shelf with the ladder propped in front of it.

35
Art Drawing #1

In the art room of Dusk (west room), some papers with sketches can be found on the ground, with each paper unlocking a different gallery image.

36
Art Drawing #2

In the art room of Dusk (west room), some papers with sketches can be found on the ground, with each paper unlocking a different gallery image.

37
Art Drawing #3

In the art room of Dusk (west room), some papers with sketches can be found on the ground, with each paper unlocking a different gallery image.

81
Blindness
(Bad Ending No. 2)

After the meeting with Harpae (and Enjel) in Dusk, immediately go to the top of the manor to trigger the Blindness ending.

(Note: In order to get Bad Ending No. 2, ?????? must go to the top floor before entering Nuit—the door labeled "III". Once in Nuit, the path will be blocked off.)

33
Family(?) Photo #4
(Wax Record IV)

In Nuit, after returning to the dress girl who asked for the Rosary, the party will begin. During the party, interact with the right front side of the grand piano to find Wax Record IV.

(Note: Though I am not certain exactly how it works, there seems to be a timer for how long ?????? can freely interact with objects in the party room before the murder occurs. I suggest immediately collecting the wax record to be safe, as the only way to return and freely explore the area once it ends is reloading a prior save.)

38
Red, Blue, and Lavender Dress Gossipers

In Nuit, after talking to Enjel, the party members will disperse to different rooms which ?????? can peek and eavesdrop on to uncover the culprit. This image is found at the northeastern door.

(Note: This is technically optional since ?????? is only required to eavesdrop, not peek, on all three doors of interest to be able to tell the party host that she has discovered the culprit.)

39
White and Blue Dress Gossipers

In Nuit, after talking to Enjel, the party members will disperse to different rooms which ?????? can peek and eavesdrop on to uncover the culprit. This image is found at the midwestern door.

(Note: This is technically optional since ?????? is only required to eavesdrop, not peek, on all three doors of interest to be able to tell the party host that she has discovered the culprit.)

34
Family(?) Photo #5
(Wax Record V)

Following the party, in the sealed-off room of Closed Doors with the crying girl, ?????? can use her pocket mirror to unveil contents on each side of the room. On the eastern wall (face west), there is a toolbox which contains Wax Record V.

40
Whistle Puzzle Solution
(Mandatory)

In the manor's oubliette, there is a door puzzle which requires using the whistles (collected along the way) in the correct order. Please note that the spoiler gallery image in this case is the solution to the puzzle.

Chapter 3 (cont.) ~ Harpae
41
Harpae's True Blindness
(Requires not meeting conditions for Harpae's Regalia)

There are many decisions that ?????? can make which will result in the bad ending (no regalia) for this chapter, so I would suggest referring to the Detailed Ending Requirements Guide to ensure ?????? reaches the desired outcome. The final room before the shatter will have a reddish hue if the conditions are not met.

42
Harpae's Rest
(Requires meeting conditions for Harpae's Regalia)

Again, there are many decisions that ?????? can make which will result in the bad ending (no regalia) for this chapter, so I would suggest referring to the Detailed Ending Requirements Guide to ensure ?????? reaches the desired outcome. The final room will have a yellowish / golden hue if the conditions are sufficiently met.

78
Haarbürste des Mondes
(Requires meeting conditions for Harpae's Regalia)

Should ?????? meet the requirements for the good ending of this chapter, she will receive Harpae's Regalia, unlocking this image.

(Note: I apologize, but I took this image after the regalia instead of before. The scene should appear almost identical.)

Chapter 4 ~ Lisette
43
Tattered Midnight Circus Posters

In the Fathoms, there are some posters advertising Lisette's Midnight Circus. There are a few spots where ?????? can interact with them, but they will all function the same. My screenshot depicts the first spot they can be found in the area.

44
Large Midnight Circus Poster

Further into the Fathoms and after the carpet hallway, there are two large posters (one on each side) advertising Lisette's Midnight Circus. Interacting with either one will count toward unlocking the gallery image.

45
Memory Sketch #1
(Mandatory)

In Oubliette, there will be a paper with a drawing on the desk. Each cycle of the room will have a different sketch, where progressing the sequence requires interacting with the note.

46
Memory Sketch #2
(Mandatory)

Once more, in Oubliette, there will be a paper with a drawing on the desk. Each cycle of the room will have a different sketch, where progressing the sequence requires interacting with the note.

47
Memory Sketch #3
(Mandatory)

A third and final time in Oubliette, there will be a paper with a drawing on the desk. Each cycle of the room will have a different sketch, where progressing the sequence requires interacting with the note.

52
Fleta's Note
(Requires meeting conditions for Fleta's Regalia)

In the Abyss, after ?????? recovers from her fall, notes will begin to appear before her depending on the conditions met up to this point in the story. Fleta's note will only appear if her regalia has been collected in the story.

53
Harpae's Note
(Requires meeting conditions for Harpae's Regalia)

In the Abyss, after ?????? recovers from her fall, notes will begin to appear before her depending on the conditions met up to this point in the story. Harpae's note will only appear if her regalia has been collected in the story.

54
Protagonist's Note
(Requires not meeting conditions for either Fleta's or Harpae's Regalia)

In the Abyss, after ?????? recovers from her fall, notes will begin to appear before her depending on the conditions met up to this point in the story. ??????'s note will only appear if neither Fleta's nor Harpae's regalia have been collected in the story (haven't confirmed if only one will work as well, will update).

55
Lisette's Note Stash
(Mandatory)

In Cerberus, a double door will eventually appear in the looping hallway, in which ?????? will be led by a reflection of Lisette to these notes.

56
Sinking Protagonist
(Mandatory)

Following ??????'s pursuit of Lisette through the halls of doors, she will be appear to be grabbed and sink beneath into water, mirror in hand. This CG image will appear as she recalls her mother's words.

Chapter 4 (cont.) ~ Lisette
57
Glimpse of Past #1
(Mandatory)

When attacked by Lisette in the Midnight Circus, accept the blow in order to prevent the mirror from shattering. Following the injury, ?????? will see brief flashes of events which have led her to this moment. This will unlock entries fifty-seven to sixty.

(Note: There is also a dead end with an unlockable gallery image should ?????? choose to protect herself with and shatter the mirror. If one is looking to unlock all images in this area at once, it is advisable to choose the dead end first and then reload from the save point placed immediately before.)

58
Glimpse of Past #2
(Mandatory)

Refer to entry fifty-seven.

59
Glimpse of Past #3
(Mandatory)

60
Glimpse of Past #4
(Mandatory)

Refer to entry fifty-seven.

61
Shattered Memories
(Dead End)

When attacked by Lisette in the Midnight Circus, protect from the blow. The mirror will shatter, leading to a game over, but this image will also be unlocked in the gallery.

62
Mermaid Ticket

In the back of the circus, Sub Rosa, there will be a ticket on the ground near the save point. Once the chase event in the next room is triggered, this will no longer be available without reloading from a previous save.

63
Lisette's Wall Note #1 (Left)
(Mandatory)

Near the end of Sub Rosa, there are two notes on the walls pinned by scissors. Reading them both is necessary for progression to Crimson Queen.

64
Lisette's Wall Note #2 (Right)
(Mandatory)

Near the end of Sub Rosa, there are two notes on the walls pinned by scissors. Reading them both is necessary for progression to Crimson Queen.

65
Meeting True Lisette #1
(Requires meeting conditions for Lisette's Regalia)

If the conditions have been met to receive Lisette's Regalia, ?????? will follow the path through the cemetery to Lisette in the dead of night. I suggest referring to the Detailed Ending Requirements Guide to ensure ?????? reaches the good/regalia ending of this chapter, but for those who would rather have it briefly explained: In the long table tea party room, tell Lisette that you knew her name, and then later, after the Sub Rosa chase, respond with "Yes" when asked if ?????? wants to help her.

66
Meeting True Lisette #2
(Requires meeting conditions for Lisette's Regalia)

Once more, if the conditions have been met to receive Lisette's Regalia, ?????? will find the real Lisette. I suggest referring to the Detailed Ending Requirements Guide to ensure ?????? reaches the good/regalia ending of this chapter.

79
Schnee Schere

Should ?????? meet the requirements for the good ending of this chapter, she will receive Lisette's Regalia, unlocking this image.

Chapter 5, Part I ~ Enjel

68
Pocket Mirror of Desire

During the Enjel's Reflection sequence in Hades, she will be shown the pocket mirror as an object of desire.

70
Shattered to Pieces

73
Medical Report
(Requires having collected all of the regalias and for Enjel to pick up the mirror before ??????)

After awaking in her room, interact with the papers on the desk to view her medical record.

(Note: This should be done before interacting with the window with sunlight pouring out, as doing so will end the game.)

74
A New Dawn
(Requires having collected all of the regalias and for Enjel to pick up the mirror before ??????)

After awaking in her room, interact with the window.

75
Ruby Red Shoes
(Requires having collected all of the regalias and for ?????? to pick up the mirror before Enjel)

Once ?????? has truly acquired all regalias (including Enjel's), a scene will play out where she walks through the gate and sees her mother.

[Some of these were listed earlier, but for the sake of completeness, they will be repeated]

80
Porcelain

After the meeting with Harpae (and Enjel) in Dusk, immediately go to the top of the manor to trigger the Blindness ending.

thank you for helping me and yes i was trying to get the spoiler image using the inspect tool worked perfectly. this was the only place where i actually saw any of the gallery images and i wanted to use them for some desktop backgrounds or profile pictures or something because they look pretty cool but in the game there either not displayed fully or they have the actual ui for the gallery in the way. anyway it worked so thank you. sorry for being to vague. :)
I really don't know  [author] 12 Jan @ 3:59pm
(2/2) I'm not sure if it's possible to directly share a folder of the images with you, but if none of these options work for or appeal to you, I could try using the Steam screenshot uploader to send you the images you'd like at unlisted URLs. I don't feel very comfortable mass-distributing a public folder with all of the images when the game files don't belong to me, so this seems like the most direct way I could go about sending them to you.

If you weren't specifically referring to the spoiler images, I'm sorry for misinterpreting what you said; please let me know!

(1/2) @CorbinDanger7, if you're trying to download an image marked with a spoiler, you could right / secondary click to inspect element and find a link to the full image inside the spoiler's element.

That didn't seem very intuitive, so I tried finding other solutions and discovered that the SteamDB browser extension [steamdb.info] is capable of revealing all spoilers in a guide at the click of a button (which will appear on the page). If you are willing to trust and don't mind installing this extension, it seems to be the best method, especially for downloading in bulk. From there, you could save the image as you normally would.
CorbinDanger7 11 Jan @ 5:25pm
im having trouble downloading the images is there any way to do that or a place i can go to do that?
