The slot machine becomes available towards the end of the second level. You have to complete the first level (town) before the drawbridge lowers and you can enter the castle. Inside the castle, find hidden objects until the slot machine unlocks and opens. It'll unlock when it becomes fully colored in after finding all objects within its section/building. It should open at around 280-290 objects found, depending on what order you go in.

Upon unlocking the Slot Machine wagon, it'll automatically open for you to play. If you want to play it again after exiting it, you can either click the slot machine wagon itself or the little blue arrow in the lower left corner of your screen.



With the Slot Machine open, you can exit by clicking the red arrow in the lower left of your screen [G], or play the minigame. Starting the game is as easy as clicking the red arrow in the center console [E], in between the leaderboard button [D] and arcade-style coin slot [F]. When you click the red arrow, it automatically deducts 5 coins from your haul, which can be viewed in the lower right corner of your screen [H]. Coins are earned by finding hidden objects in the world, as well as by hitting certain animals in the Slot Machine minigame itself. I've found it's almost impossible to run out of coins, and you'll likely wind up making a profit from the minigame instead.

In the upper console, you'll find a book button in the upper left which shows you a pictograph guide of how to play the game [A]. Center are your bonus (above) and points (below) counters (B). Right is your timer, which counts down time remaining to play the minigame, but can be added to by hitting certain animals [C].

Additionally, there's a hit bonus that gets added automatically to your bonus counter each time you hit animals in a row. It resets every time you miss one.

Bomb Fox first appears through one of the holes and is preceded by a little clicking sound to give you a heads-up. If you miss the fox the first time, the minigame gives you a second chance by throwing the bomb up through the hole after Bomb Fox has disappeared. So if you hit Bomb Fox straight away, it's knocked off, but if you miss it, you can still hit the bomb when it's tossed up into the air. You have until it reaches approximately the line in the bomb picture below before it explodes and ends your game.



Baby Mouse adds a whopping 30 seconds to your time limit, but is rarer to spawn than others, so be sure to hit it every time you see it, priority permitting. It pops out normally like most others.



Samurai leaps up into the air out of its hole, making it a little more difficult to hit than other animals. If you miss it, it'll deduct 10 seconds from your time limit, which can start overwhelming you in later point phases when multiples spawn one after another. But if you hit it, it adds 5 seconds, which is a plus.

An additional challenge to this one is the RNG chance of a white flag guard spawning behind the samurai, forcing you to accidentally hit the white flag guard when hitting the samurai. It can get frustrating, but if you take it slow and second guess yourself, you can succeed.



Fat Chipmunk can be hit multiple times, so spam click it anytime you see it for stacking points as well as coins added to your stockpile and 10 seconds added to your timer. This becomes an awesome stacker if it spawns after you get a slowing bonus from an Old Man Mouse.



Ninja pops out, then phases out and teleports to a different hole. Also challenging, but not quite as much as Samurai. If you miss Ninja, it'll deduct 5 seconds from your time limit.



Old Man Mouse pops up like normal and grants you a slowing bonus when hit. This is valuable because it causes all animals to pop up at a decreased speed for a certain time depending on your hit bonus, making hitting things much easier.



Wizard Mouse gives you a wand bonus which pumps up your hit bonus to x8.



Hammer Bear gives you a hammer bonus, which increases the radius of your hammer to hit 1-4 targets instead of just 1. While this can be helpful, be careful with it because you can easily accidentally hit a white flag guard if one pops up at the last second mid-swing.



Guards, squirrels, and rabbits grant points when hit, so hit them when you can, but only if there aren't any other higher priorities on the board. Be sure to avoid white flag guards like the plague; it might help to just completely ignore guards as a whole.

It's important to maintain a calm and steady mind throughout this minigame, because it's easy to give in to adrenaline and just hit things with reckless abandon. But the more you hold back, the easier it is to differentiate between good hits and bad hits, and avoid accidentally hitting things that will end your game prematurely. You're ultimately fighting against the clock, and the clock is fairly easy to replenish, so don't stress too much about it.

At 0-30,000 points, the hit list in order of highest to lowest priority is as follows:

- Wizard Mouse/Hammer Bear
- Guard
- Squirrel
- Rabbit

This minigame has phases that are triggered by point totals. It'll start out slow and easy with just the points-only basic animals (rabbit, squirrel, guards), and will begin introducing the white flag guards at around 100-150 points. The white flag guards have differing appearances, but will always be guards.

When you reach ~1,000 points, bonus and challenge animals will start appearing and the speed of pop-ups will increase. Speed will gradually increase from there at certain point milestones.

By the time you reach 30,000 points, animals will start popping in at a ridiculous rate, and it'll be nearly impossible to keep up with it if you try to focus on all of them all at once. At this point, it's recommended to abandon all other animals on the list except the named ones on the below list. Additionally, accuracy is crucial, because it's easy to missclick and miss animals, especially when more than one Bomb Fox spawns.

At 30,000+ points, the hit list in order of highest to lowest priority is as follows:
