🐈 Introduction
Bully: Scholarship Edition is a game dating almost more than 20 years ago.

To make it run any apps of that age on any Windows system, requires Microsoft to maintain code to ensure compatibility through the ages.

This guide will help you make your game run as though it was on Windows XP (as in back in my days 👵).
🐈 Steps
🐾 Step 1: Open the game directory

On Steam, go to Library, then right click on Bully: Scholarship Edition.
Then select the Installed Files tab.
Then select Browse....

🐾 Step 2: Change Compatibility mode

Once in the game's directory, right click on Bully.exe.
Then click on Properties.
Select the Compatibility tab.

In the Compatibility Mode box,
Tick Run this program in compatibility mode for:.
Select Windows XP (Service Pack 3).

🐾 Step 3: If it doesn't work

  • Test any other compatibility mode.
  • Try running in Administrator mode.

⚠ I would advise against installing any of those "Patches". It usually changes the behaviour of the code, and even may not be safe.

Hope this helped,

Please no. This is not a working fix, and if it is, it only fixes a small amount of crashes if many. If anybody tells you to go into the compatibility tab in Properties, ignore it! What you need is a community made patch that will 100% fix the crashes down to the core. It does not fix every crash that’s been recorded under the sun, but it fixes the memory leaks that happen with Windows 10 and above.
