Go any lane except midlane, decide if you want to be support or carry. Aphotic Shield applies a dispel which removes debuffs and stuns on top of granting damage block, use it to save allies and aggressively chase enemies. Curse of Avernus applies a silence to the target if you attack them 4 times within a short period, which effectively prevents melee heroes from fighting you during the early game. Exploit this and aggressively attack them. Mist Coil can be used to burst your own Aphotic Shield early or to finish off enemies, do not use it to heal allies without buying Holy Locket as the heal is very weak. Borrowed Time triggers automatically when you're near death and makes you unkillable for the duration.
