Base Tour: Humble cooking area (part 1). Thought I'd make like a BBQ deck. Note: This was also my 'Work Bench' for my battery research!

Yes, the battery nearest the socket and before it splits up will drain first and drain quickly, but that's all that's needed to buff the rest of the batteries long enough to last the entire night.

In my battery guide I noted how many devices a given battery tier can buffer before it is too much. A Makeshift Battery can help buffer 10 devices, but that includes other batteries, so the above setup can run 5 devices and buffer 5 batteries before the Makeshift Battery stops working. The math changes when you introduce other battery tiers, but I'm sure you can get the idea on how that works.

thanks for the show and nice to know what the blue bar means kinda silly of me that I didn't realize that.
purely been daisy chain batteries straight from the socket then split, been looking to make these more efficient as possible so I'll look into giving this a try, quick question the first battery that's a buffer right?

Yeah I know exactly what that means.

Believe me, somewhere in the archived forum I broke out a stop watch and did posted my research on this. This setup uses the least amount of small batteries and still keeps things powered for the entire night.

I did this setup again in the current EA run with 3 stoves, 1 Oven, and an X-Ray Turret, plugged into a 6 way splitter, and it cuts out a second before the power turns on. That's 10 devices on one small battery, but it is still enough push to keep the other 5 batteries from dying too soon.

You'd wanna look at the 'blue' gauge' on the battery, notice the solo battery connected to the plug strip has a high blue gauge? It has a load of 6 objects on it.
