Welcome to the guide on how to get to the true ending in Blazblue Entropy Effect. I have tried to keep spoilers to a minimum, but there are likely some in the screenshots. You have been warned.

• Have cleared all NPC interactions to the end.
  
  • Told Marvin the truth about what happened to Zoe.
    
  • Followed CAM's dialog to the end.
    
  • Found out the truth about Melin and Eren.
• Have viewed all of the relevant Phenomena.

Unless specific instructions are listed in the Phenomena sections below, none of the dialog options are relevant.

The guide will generally give instructions and accompanying screenshots for important dialog options with the correct option highlighted in purple. The only exception is for "Stronger Humans" as it is not flagged as an important choice even though it should be.

Completing Mind Upload VI will lock all story progression. The game warns you about this when you get there.

As such, it is recommended that you stop story progression at "Last Words" if you want to see the true ending.

• Talk to the giant orb on the left of the second floor.
  
• Talk to Marvin for the first time on the balcony.

• Don't expose the guide, this will cause a bad end.
  

The guide lists phenomena in the order they were encountered by the writer. You may find the phenomena in different order. However, as long as you generally follow the options below, you will still make it through to the end.

There may be some pre-requisites in the order of phenomena as well (for example, Overdrive will not show up without first completing the steps under Recording #1, etc).

This guide only details actions required beyond accepting the call from the guide if one pops up.

  • Go to the balcony to talk to the triangle headed man (CAM).
    
  • Talk to Stan at least once.

  • Talk to Marvin on the balcony about Zoe.
    
  • Call back the guide via the Mind Upload voicemail
    
  • You can call back via Menu > Info > Voicemail > Mind Upload > Call Back

  • Talk to CAM on the balcony
  
  
• Homecoming
  
  • Talk to CAM on the balcony.
  
  
• Overdrive
  
  • Talk to Marvin on the balcony.
  
  
• Death
  
  • Talk to Marvin on the balcony and tell him the truth.
    
  
  
• Stronger Humans
  
  • Talk to CAM on the balcony. (Requires "Death" to have been watched and cleared.)
    
  • Make sure you mention mind links / orb
    
    • Third dialog option via first selection "Have you heard of mind links?" > "Like last time I heard it from the orb."
      
    • Or, if you chose to explore the other options then pick "Just like last time, I heard it from the orb."
      
  • Failing to do the above will cause a bad end. If you picked correctly, CAM will warn you to not proceed down this path any further.
  
  
• Project Fledgling
  
  • On the call with the guide, make sure you pick "Okay".
    
  • 
  • If you want further context, you can choose "What makes you think I will help you?" but you then need to pick "Fine, I promise you."
    
  • 
  • Talk to CAM on the balcony (requires Disagreement, Separate Ways, and Project Fledgling to have been watched)
    
  • Go find the cleaning robot on the 1st floor (normally near the big screen)
    
  • Talk to CAM on the balcony again
    
  • Make sure you pick the first or second option, picking the 3rd will lock you out of the true ending route.

• SPECIAL NOTE
  
  • It is recommended to watch the final 3 phenomena in order (Key > Another Identity > First Conversation).
    
  • Additionally it is required to view Another Identity and First Conversation before talking to CAM.
    
  • If you talk to CAM after Another Identity without First Conversation, it will lead to a bad end.

  • When talking to the orb, select "There must be another way."

  • When talking to the guide, select "Is there no other way?"

  • Then "Perhaps I can find another way."

• Another Identity / First Conversation
  
  • It is required to view Another Identity and First Conversation before talking to CAM. Failing to do so will lead to a bad end.
    
  • Talk to CAM on the balcony

  • Completely optional to find this, but it gives you some closure about what happened.
  
  
• SPECIAL NOTE - Recording #2
  
  • If you are following the guide, you will not find this on your playthrough. However, you can still find and view in the post-game. Recording #2 only drops if you lie to Marvin, so do not do this during the actual run.

After completing all of the phenomena, you can finally proceed with the final mind upload and go to the ending. For specific steps:

• Go to IO and complete the mind uploads.
  
• Guide call on the way out.
  
• Talk to the orb.
  
• Talk to CAM on the way to IO.
  
• FINISH GAME.
