How to unlock
In order to unlock the secret character, you need to perform specific actions in every level.

  • In the first stage, you need to have a 5-shaped star, a bomb, a moon and a two-sided enemy on screen at the same time and use a healing card, doing so will kill every enemy on screen and drop a flower card.
  • After getting the flower card, use it in stage 2 against the bee boss and then wait for it to disappear. You will then obtain the honey card. If you kill the boss it won’t drop the card.
  • After that, sell the honey to the ghost shopkeeper. In exchange it will give you a coin card.
  • In the casino stage, use the coin against the slot machine boss. The boss will then release a lot of cards and die shortly after, dropping a dirty card.
  • Next, put the dirty card in the fountain and clear stage 4 as usual. In the next shop, the dirt will be removed and you will obtain a key card.
  • In the final stage, when the boss gets to half hp it won’t summon the jar but instead there will be a chained ghost. Since there’s two locks you need to find a copy card to duplicate the key.

Some additional remarks from what I experienced :
  • In the first stage you only need a 5-shaped star so you can kill the 4-shaped star that spawns during the level. I had a few times where the event didn’t trigger but I’m not sure why. Here's an example of what happens usually (not my vid) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uoxJloHHZQ
  • If you die, the honey in the jar disappears and the final boss fight just proceeds as normal.
  • You need to have put some hp inside the jar, otherwise it won’t trigger the chained ghost event.
  • If you kill both the hat and the wand before the boss gets to half hp you also won’t trigger the jar event.
  • The key isn’t aimed automatically at the chained ghost like the coin with the slot machine, so make sure to not miss.
  • You need to wait for the boss to finish attacking to free the chained ghost, otherwise the key will just go through him.
