How to complete the "House of Cards" task

This was my very last task and I could not find anything online about it so to prevent others from having the same issue this guide now exists.

概要

The Whole Guide

This strategy should theoretically work on everyone but it works best using You or any variation of John Fenriz. The way the strategy works is by using the card Retribution in tandem with any shield card like Blessing of Protection or Regenerate .

The strategy works like this:

1. Get the Retribution card

2. Gain any amount of shield

3. Use Retribution 4 times (You will most likely have to cycle your hand and go through a few rounds, easiest way to do this is by having multiple Retribution cards or by using Double Down)

4. Once you have 4 Retributions active destroy your shields in any way possible, the card Strip or Glass Cannon work amazing for this

5. Get to the next round and the task will unlock!

As long as you don't have any cards that affect the amount of cards you can draw this should give you the max amount of cards you can initially draw. Have fun with your new variant!

I am loosing my mind with this one. I have had a hand of 8 multiple times (even once 9???) and I still have only 6 as my maximum listed in this achievement :'3

Took me 5 tries to get Retribution early-enough to finish the mission, and even then - I finished it on the second-to-last pull 😣
Now I just have to do the pong for 100% completion of the game... damn pong... the worst minigame I have seen since ages, with the ball sticking under the pad :/

Thanks for this guide. It's was tricky getting all the necessary cards within a single run, but I finally managed to pull it off and clear that task.

I tried John Fenriz but was not lucky enough to find the Retribution card. I did do it with Greezy (found the card among many in "shopping"). I believe these 3 cards are the easiest way to do it:

1. Retribution (required)
2. Blessing of Protection (active ability that keeps adding a small anount of shield)
3. Glass Cannon (which depletes ALL the shield, whatever has been built up, in a single card play)

There is no cost to play the Retribution card, so play it every time it comes up.

Once you know you have played the Retribution card 4 times, then play the Glass Cannon card. It will remove all your shield but none of your health (ie, if your health is 500 and your shield is 40, you "health/shield" bar will show 540, then when you play Glass Cannon that bar will drop to 500.

Then on the next draw you will get 8 cards (the normal 4 plus the 4 from the Retribution cards played before.

Yandersonnn, I think this task is to use only Sunder towers (of any quantity) to reach the final stage. Should be fairly easy, especially if you manage to get some good luck cards and Lucky Flame.

Can anyone help me with the fire purification task? I do not know what to do.
It says "ACHIEVE TREASON BY USING ONLY SEPARATE TOWERS, WITHOUT ANY OTHER TOWERS OR GUARNITIONS"
I couldn't understand what "separate towers only" meant
