hi guys ! this is my first guide on steam and also counter strike : global offensive ! today ( or tonight :D ) i gonna show you how to work with your cfg ( maybe you wonder what is this thing ? you will know at the rest ) and change your setting and mainly how to improve your fps ! and of course we got a little special section for understanding the fps and also cfg !

well the fps word is stand for Frame Per Second ! its about a imaging device ( monitor , tv , LED & ... ) that can produce unique consecutive pictures called frames ! for being clear all of you know that movies or clips are made of lots of pictures that we are watching them as a tandem ! every unique picture called a frame ! :)
the FPS is number that shows how much pictures we can see in one second and obviously by having a higher number we are going to have a better gaming experience ! when we say the fps is 100 it means that in one second we can see 100 pictures ! by lowering the fps the images and the video going to be caught and lose their tandem !

every game have a cfg or a config file that its job is saving your settings ! ( controlls , video and audio settings )

well you can easily open this and change your settings !
NOTE : its not like the in-game settings every change needs a code or script ! and also there is some changes that u can't do theme via in-game setting !
the best program for contracting with the cfg is Notepad++ ! here's the download link : http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.6.9.html
( just easily you can right click on the file and select open with notepad++ )

well when you have a high fps it means that you have a better aim ! better gameplay ... and everything just going to be better :D
well as the first thing you need to how much is your fps ? simply open the cfg file via the given program and press Control + F and the Find Text Section enter ( cl_showfps ) and simply change the 0 to 1 !
NOTE : in every commands , 0 means Off and 1 means On
in the up and left corner you can see a your fps ! well go to a map and check your fps . if its lower than 100 your fps is bad and you need to improve it ! if its between 100 - 150 , its good ! you dont need to improve but as i said the higher fps means a better gaming ! above the 150 , well , just fine :D

well the first option for improving your fps is improving your pc specs but if you cant afford it the second option is lowering your game video settings ! just set all of them to low and off except multicore rendering ! it should be On !
if u dont find your fps going up you should use the third option !
using scripts in your cfg !
NOTE : all of this commands are tested by me and mu friends and its fine and has no problem and also there is no any VAC ban or threat for it .
well first open your steam and right click on your CS:GO , choose properties , general tab , set launch option and enter : -novid -high -threads 4
this will set the process affinity to high, and grant your cores to CS:GO .
now open your cfg and find this text via control + f and easily change them ! ( its just about the 0 and 1 )
r_drawtracers_firstperson Set to "0" - Disable first-person tracers. Enemy tracers are still drawn.
mat_queue_mode "-1" - Auto-detect multi-core rendering
cl_forcepreload “1” - Forces the game to load all the sound and art assets on map load. This can help you if you experience stuttering when certain sounds go off, such as throwing a grenade into a bunch of props
well if its me i was 180 fps and with this i got the 280 fps !
