Aliens Vs. Predator is a highly underrated & fairly unknown title from 2010, even though it was the fastest selling game in the UK at the time, even outperforming titles like BioShock 2 & the original MW2. Globally it achieved somewhere over 3M sales, although the exact figures are disputed & hard to come across these days. Even with the success in mind, a sequel was never created even when the ending easily left room for one, and the game faded into obscurity. 
Aliens: Colonial Marines is likely the reason that all Aliens related FPS games were scrapped moving forward, I know we got Borderlands 2 instead but that wasn't worth the loss of future Aliens IP games to me.

So now let's put the years of high intensity FPS training to use, and try to beat AvP with just a pistol.
