Company of Heroes 2 is an intense & engaging RTS game with endless replayability. However, if you are relatively new it can be overwhelming.

This Guide will provide fundamental understanding of all the factions, units & other aspects.

Getting Started
* Important *

- There will be a lot of Trolls, AFK, Noobs (Those that refuse to learn the mechanic & just spam). Therefore, it is VERY crucial for you to keep a List of those players to avoid wasting time.

- Cover is the key to survive (Green: Best, Yellow: Average, Red: Bad)

- Learn to Retreat when the situation become too dangerous

- Learn to use revert movement of your Vehicle (R button)

Faction: Oberkommando West (OKW)
PROS
CONS
⏱️/⚔️: Extremely Fast & Strong at the beginning
⏱️/💲: Units are expensive and slow to reinforce

Optimal Strategy:

- Must get a Kübelwagen every single time

Act fast but be cautious, get your Sturmpioneer Squad as close as possible to maximize the kill

Watch for Machine Gun (MGs) at all time, flank them if possible

Breakthrough Doctrine


By far the best commander you can choose

Panzerfüsilier can be deadly at ANY range, but they excel at chasing & Mid - Long range

Should have around 3 Squads (Panzerfüsilier) & 1 Squad of Sturm Offizier

Luftwaffe Ground Forces Doctrine



- You can use the Fallschirmjäger to disrupt enemy lines but can really risky

Scavenge Doctrine


1st Strategy: Vehicle focus
- Ostwind can be very devastated so build at least 3 & make sure to take the 2 required bulletins (Bulletproof & Jazz Hans).

- Ambush & Swarm the enemy vehicles and constantly on the move if you wanna keep them.

2nd Strategy: Defensive Mode
- This strategy emphasize that you do Hit & Run, Support the other players if possible. Vehicle will be for late game but not too much important.

- Keep a look out for anything that can be salvage (Wreckages, abandoned weapons)

Feuersturm Doctrine



- There is various way you could utilize this commander: Aggressive, Semi-Agressive, Defensive

Elite Armored Doctrine



You must open with 2 units of Kübelwagen & 2 units of Sturmpioneer Squad

Be extra careful not to get close & watch out for anti - vehicles

Fortifications Doctrine



This Doctrine mostly useful for Beginning & Late game

Conserve your Manpower & Ammunition points, only use when most needed or to reinforce your squads. DO NOT lose any squad as it is very expensive & slow down the effectiveness of this Doctrine

Pretty similar to Obberkommando, however, require extreme micro management especially with some commander
