Sick of dying right as you load? This will help.

Always start the game paused!

FAQ
  • It pauses the game at every start and save game load
  • You must enable it for your save file if you are already running a game.
    Click "Load"-> "More" -> "Choose Mods"
  • It works for Single Player. You can't pause in Multiplayer.
  • This mod simply pauses the game on the OnGameStart event.
  • If using the mod "Lifestyle Hobbies" it must be before PauseStart in load order

Can be added midsave. For those trying to resurrect. Remember to disable lifestyle hobbies. Spent 2 hrs trouble shooting and that is literally the fucking mod that disables all these pause on start mods lol

I love you, mod author!

Saved my run from a weird glitch. My character couldn't move at all and was locked in place. Couldn't shove, attack, walk, or do much of anything other than spin in circles while zombies enjoyed their free meal.

While he's updating it you can try this mod , seems to work with me even with other mods like Lifestyle Hobbies, https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3392136394

For some reason this mod doesn't seem to work with Lifestyle Hobbies, even when loaded the way it says to here (with this mod being after Lifestyle Hobbies in the load order, though I checked flipping them around just to be sure). I do have a lot of other mods, but when disabling lifestyle hobbies this mod works just fine.

Maybe the recent update from lifestyle hobbies did something?
