Basic playstyle & Notable enemies
Gameplay basics
. There is a timer, but kind on lower difficulties, so use it as a resource
. Use autofire if you have the option in your gamepad/arcade stick (very good on bosses)
. Some enemies shoot back when destroyed, take that into account

LABYRINTH OF CAVES
-»Black piranha (shoot/jump fast when on their line of sight)
-»Baby crocodile (move slowly/shoot when eggs crack)

LAKE NEPTUNE
-» Flying monkey (stand your ground and focus fire so they can't melee attack)
-» Giant Seahorse (aim lower body)

CAVERNS OF FIRE
-»Ghost (aim diagonally; care vertical spear throws)
-»Fire Bird (care triple shots if flying just above you)

ICE PALACE
-» Worm spitting fire (rotate shots and jumps)
-» Squid (stand in front of their eye and keep shooting)

DARK JUNGLE
-» Bouncing flower (move slightly back and then hit them as they land)
-» Spiked Worm (watch their scripted move patterns before advancing)

Golden Palace
-» Armored soldiers (jump on them; care plasma wave)
Bosses
BOLORAGOG
-» Bait his jump, move as far as you can, shoot back
-» Repeat after he laughs

RAMBACHA
-» Keep Shooting diagonally to his eye (or bait his shots, then move)

MOGULVAR
-» Stand at the far left of the screen; shoot diagonally when he burps

ZARZAMOTH
-» Stand from a distance and wait for his tusks attack to jump in between them (twice)

BASHTAR
-» Keep mostly mindful of the hands movement and shoot the heart when unprotected

VOOKIMEDLO
-» You have to pay attention to his hands and head attacks
-» Use mid area to shoot (first his feet, then the heart), and run back as needed

Final commentary:
-» An enjoyable platformer that triggered me to revisit its Arcade and Genesis ports
-» Feel free to give your views too

With esteem, Leandro
