If you’re here that probably means that you have no idea how to obtain that baleful achievement. And just like you, I had none either! I must admit that the description of this achievement is pretty cryptic and the fact that only 0.5% of players actually unlocked it can be quite intimidating but fear not! This is about to change! Here’s how to become the true Drunken Master!

To put it into simple words: beat the crap out of all male passers-by in the game while being drunk.

There are 34 different male character models for the passers-by in the game (no one seems to agree on the exact number but I counted 34) and you need to punch each and every single one of them at least once.

To be able to attack passers-by, you need to be drunk. Go to any location that sells alcohol and drink up. Each time you buy a drink, your “drunkenness” meter fills a little (it looks like a glass of whiskey), buy four drinks to get it full and be on your way to whack some innocent citizens who didn’t ask for anything.





Buy either shots or the bottle. Buying the bottle allows you to bring it with you and get drunk in other locations but on the other hand shots are way cheaper.



Once you've reached that state you can leave and go fight!

• You can punch only 6 people in the same location, afterwards the other passers-by will run past you and you won’t be able to attack them anymore. To reset this, simply enter a building and go back outside. DO NOT change location; you will switch to a new segment of your days and you can only do this four times before having to go to bed (however if you need the weather or the season to change, that can be a pretty efficient way to make time go faster but you will need to start the next day by going to the bar to get drunk again).
  
  
• Don’t drink too much! If you over-drink your character will fall asleep and you will skip the rest of the day; just fill your meter and go out there.
  
  
• THERE ARE UNIQUE PASSERS-BY. There are 2 unique character models in the countryside (a mailman and a guy wearing a tank top and green tracksuit), 4 unique character models (carrying umbrellas) during any rainy days that you can find anywhere and 4 unique passers-by during summer (the guys wearing tank tops).
  
  
• There are VARIANTS. Each passer-by (outside of the ones carrying umbrellas and the two unique passers-by in the countryside) have 4 variants: it’s all about the color of their clothes and what hairstyle they have. Pay attention not to miss any.
  
  
• On rainy days, only the four passers-by carrying an umbrella will appear not the others.
  
  
• IF IT RAINS IN THE COUNTRYSIDE, THE 2 UNIQUE CHARACTERS WILL NOT APPEAR.

The best way to unlock this achievement is by giving a full run to it. And it starts very early on. Skip the first week (if you can) and on the first day where you can freely move around in the city, go to the bar. Get drunk there and immediately go to the main street in front of the hotel’s main entrance. We need to go there because the biggest spawn of passers-by is located in this zone. Also the hotel is nearby and you can enter and leave it endlessly allowing you to reset your number of punched dudes as much as you want and therefore allowing you to punch 'em some more! Now you need to show your true fighting skills to those innocent souls: punch ‘em all! After punching six dudes, go inside the hotel lobby and go right back out. Keep repeating the process until you got them all. You should definitely keep track somewhere of who you’ve punched and the color of what they were wearing, keep in mind that there are a lot of variants! And if you have a doubt: just punch him. Better punchy than sorry.

This is the spot on the main street that I use: it's at the edge of the map which allows more passers-by to spawn and you're next to the hotel's main entrance.

As previously said, you need to knock out 34 different dudes so keep track of who’ve already hit. If you go to the main street on your first day, you’ll be able to get most of them (28 out of 34 to be exact). However you’ll be missing 6: 4 that appear during rainy days and 2 that can only be found in the country side.

The safest way to do it is to go on a rampage on the first day, go back at attacking passers-by on your first rainy day to get the 4 rainy day characters you need and then beat the heck out of the 2 remaining guys in the country side (don't worry, there is a bar there). If you still didn’t get the achievement after your trip to the countryside, then go back to the main street and get the last ones you need.

Depending on how your storyline is going, the fastest way to go to the countryside is to buy a car right after you unlock the location of the car dealership. And the fastest way to get a rainy day is to wait for your trip with Kato to the countryside (if you followed a storyline that involves that event).

Don’t go too far into any storylines because you don’t want your characters to die early nor to be constantly disturbed by cut-scenes or being teleported to locations you didn’t plan on going to. Have enough money to buy a car, keep enough health to reach your first rainy day and get an office if you want to be sure to access the countryside at least once.
