Report a translation problem
- Locate the configuration file. If you are running the game through Steam, find the game's local files. The file is typically named dosboxAlone1.conf or something similar.
- Edit the cycles setting. Open the .conf file with a text editor and find the line that controls the CPU cycles.
- Adjust the value. Change the value to a lower, fixed number. For example, some users have reported success by changing the line to cycles=6000. Other values like cycles=11000 or lower are also commonly suggested.
- Save the file and relaunch the game. The "run" command should now work consistently.
