Intro
Rumours of something lurking beneath the surface of Monster Lake have scared up interest in this water-park. Get your teeth into the competition and unleash a monster park on the unsuspecting peeps!

Monster Lake is the 4th scenario in the Soaked! expansion pack for RCT3. Although the objectives are similar to the previous scenarios, this is the first Soaked! scenario where you must impress a VIP.
Apprentice

Apprentice
At the beginning of this scenario, you start off with $4000.
I strongly recommend increasing the cost of park admission and the water-based transit.
I set both of these values to $5 for the entire scenario.

Two Coasters
You can tackle the roller coaster requirements by building a coaster in the patch of the land parallel to the Sea Serpent Shuttle.
I built a simple Junior Coaster.

Guests in Park: 300
Start developing on the larger patch of land across from the roller coaster 'island'.
Remember, in Scotland, it rains a lot!
Make sure you choose rides with coverage, so guests will want to ride in all weather conditions.
Challenges

The Goth Market
This challenge appeared after I completed the Apprentice section of this scenario.
Ghost House ride and Mirror Maze are both covered rides and fit the Spooky theme.
I built both of these attractions on the larger patch of land, close to the Water-Based transit dock.

Thanks RCT3!

Pump Pumpkins
Similar to the Kebab-Gate challenge in Oasis of Fun (Soaked 2), you need to sell a lot of food.
I placed Pumpkin Pie stalls on each island, and lowered the cost to a dollar.
Entrepreneur
Entrepreneur
Total Monthly Ride Income: $800
The monthly ride income may seem like a great challenge, but the strategy lies in the cost to ride the water-based transit. Since it is required to access the rest of the attractions, peeps will pay $5 for it.

My peeps really enjoyed riding the Rotor... I suggest setting the admission cost for each ride to $4 or $5. Make sure to increase the cost of the Sea Serpent Shuttle as well.
Tycoon
Tycoon
The final (and hardest) stage of Monster Lake. You must impress our VIP, Bob Waterman!
On his first visit, he was disappointed. He will return a few months later if he is not satisfied with your park.

Guests in Park: 600
At this point, it is likely you will have already met the required amount of guests.
If not, I suggest developing the near the castle, making sure to add paths and stalls.
I added a spooky wheel in the small area next to the back of the castle.

Park rating: 800
Pay attention to your guests' complaints.
(I know it is tempting, but don't try to make too much of a profit on umbrellas.)
I suggest keeping a close eye on any trash piling up or rides that need mechanics. Make sure you move your staff around!

VIP (Bob Waterman)
Build a pool complex, it doesn't have to be huge.
(Maybe place a water-slide to excite your guests and make them want to visit your pool.)
Make sure your grounds are clean.
I lengthened the queue line for the Water Based Transport to make sure Bob could line up and travel between islands.

He will leave specific comments about his likes and dislikes while he visits your park. Keep this in mind if he is not satisfied, and you need to impress him again!
