Thanks electric. I made it with a deep end and a shallow end so you can safely raise swimming skill without fear of drowning.
Of course this is heavily modded building materials, but you can make a functional pool without mods.
It is all about location. The pool is dug near a calm bay, and far enough from the water so there is no storm waves.
