1941 the Avro Lancaster was built nearing the end of world war 2 along with its sister bombers the Handley Page Halifax (1940) and the Short Stirling (1939).

Built by the British company Avro it was used by the:
Royal Air Force,
Royal Canadian Air Force
and the Royal Australian Air Force.

This big metal beast conducted night missions over the fields of Germany to strategically bomb factories and buildings of interest that might hinder the Germans.
Nearing the end of the war it was used to do dam busting missions with the bouncing bomb to further hinder the Germans via their power production.

This machine is one of the many things that helped win that war.

- On the engineer's panel ensure power and fuel pumps are on
- turn on the magnetos of engines 1 to 4
- Hold the starter for a bit and let the engine start fully

[W/S] - Pitch
[A/D] - Roll
[Up/Down] - Quick Throttle
[Left/Right] - Yaw
[Space] - Brakes

[W/S] - Gun elevation
[A/D] - Gun Traverse
[Space] - Shoot

There are two buttons on the right side, They control the bomb bay doors and the bombs.
You can hold the Drop Bomb button to release multiple bombs (it is sequenced so you can let go and it will stop dropping bombs)
To your left there is an instrument panel that controls the heading hold giving the bombardier some control over the aircraft.

The rest should be self explanatory.

Fun story:
Beginner came to me and asked if he could use some of my vehicles for the underwater update.
I gave him a stripped down and unfinished Avro Lancaster and my Spitfire Mk.IX too, so yeah those vehicles you might be digging out of the sea are mine which I am quite proud of. Hope you Enjoy!
