By ori
Love them hate them or be afraid of them dwellers appear in layer three I think they appear in layer 4 as well I haven't gone there yet and I've only seen three of them this will be mentioning their behaviors alongside some minor things that I've seen about them keep in mind this is very unfinished any info that has been learned about them will be greatly appreciated that way I can update it

Note
If you have any info provided in the compliments and I'll probably add it soon in a new category
Walter
Walter is the one that got me first and got me really good here's from what I learned from my encounters with him Walter will wander around the map sometimes indicated by a sound cue whenever he spawns nearby all dwellers will usually teleport I think however whenever they do they have an obvious sound cue I think he'll wander around the map aimlessly until he encounters you which he does he'll give chase he isn't too particularly fast and you can usually keep out running him for a while whenever he's nearby you'll hear glitched voices like Bucky I'm really sorry and some music if he happens to see you run make sure you're not too close to him when you decide to hide he will always keep chasing you until either he catches you or you hide after some time the distortion effect will go away indicating that he lost track of you however do NOT hide when he is too close if he is too close when you hide he may break the hiding spot preventing you from hiding there however while he's in the animation you can run from him again make sure you hide A decent distance away and he'll eventually stop chasing you some extra notes about him he may seem pretty fast but he can sometimes slow down for no reason not sure why this happens but it seems to happen whenever he gets stuck on map geometry
Olive
she doesn't roam around the map like the others instead she will show up either on the left or right black bars on the sides of your screen you'll hear a reversed version of a dweller spawning if you are not hiding when you hear that sound she will spawn nearby you to give chase and she is fast but you should be able to outrun her for a while but still find a hiding spot if you hear the sound if she does spawn she can spawn anywhere including on top of you you are given a decent amount of time before she notices you and spawns so get ready to run if she is about to spawn

A-frame before she spawns in
giovanni
from what I've heard from him he has really good hearing however it doesn't seem to be that good you can only pick up what the tapes are being heard mentioned by stumbler he mentions to play them far away from him not sure what he'll do but I presume just like Walter he'll break them you can also jump meaning standing up in high spots may cause him to get you I am not sure if he's able to break hiding spots like Walter just like Walter he has a sound whenever he's nearby it's mainly just some weird glitchy gibberish it's hard to explain he also shares the same mechanic like Olivia that's where he can show up on the left or right sides of your screen you want to hide if he is about to spawn
blot (rex)
the files call him Rex but his actual name is blot he takes the form of a rabbit he doesn't work like the others I wasn't able to get a lot of interactions with him but here's what I was able to learn he seems to be the fastest out of all the dwellers that isn't spawned in right away and will not spawn in on their own stumbler mentioned that if anything appears off or is moving hit it repeatedly until it vanishes if he is allowed to spawn or you can't seem to find where the audio is coming from because if the music stops and there's creepy audio find it if you take too long you will spawn he will roam around the place just like any other dweller however he shares the same mechanic like olive and giovanni where you'll see him shop on the left or right side of your screen and if you're not hiding he will spawn in somewhere nearby thankfully he can't destroy barrels keep a very keen eye and ear out for when he decides to spawn he appears on layer 4 you can tell if he's about to spawn indicated by a weird noise and a barrel showing up you need to hit it repeatedly in order to prevent him from spawning

I used to call him hunter but we eventually learned his actual name also Sometimes when he spawns there's a chance where he'll be in the ground it is really weird it's funny though

blot stuck in the ground
brandon
brandon is strange he appears very sparsely he also doesn't act like the others he still behaves like them normally but he appears on layer 4 alongside hunter he runs just as fast as Walter that has one power that's very unique and exclusive to him he has the power of tabbing you out of the game and having you look at 3 images you don't have to look at them you can quickly go back into the game and continue running he also has the ability to break barrels just like him his audio is also different he also shares the same glitched audio though it's slightly different I don't really know how to describe him just keep an eye out on him and watch out
Husk
husk acts as the final boss you reappear on the mainland high school appear somewhere on the map it's random from my knowledge whenever you find him you'll get a small close up of him and then he'll teleport somewhere else unless it's your first time finding him he will always show up in the same spot if it's your first time finding him whenever you interact with him all dwellers will freeze temporarily you have to find him 10 times to see the end husk also follows you throughout the whole game however he never gets close enough to interact with you he is always miles away from you and will never get close to an interacting with you at all however as you progress through 1997 mode he gets closer and closer he is completely non hostile but does show some sympathy for the dwellers after all they were once human
Miscellaneous info or missing info
I have encountered all the dwellers that are in layer 3 or 4 i only really made this guide so people can understand the dwellers/starlines a bit more If you encounter some weird quirks or other things involving the other characters let me know One time I got one of them stuck in the ground along said another instance where they got stuck out of bounds

when stumbler says about giovanni he ,means dont play tape record around him bc he can hear it for now only tape recorder so no door. he does not share the same ability as ovile or blot but he has very good eye sight being able to see u from far away. by far the sec weakest starrling. i like to call brandon bucky buz for me saying brandon sounds like yall are sayiong he killed but its the starrling that killled not him the starrling. but brandon is similar to walter but much stronger i think walter has like a 50% chance to break barrel and bucky has 75% chance to break barrel. by far the strongest starrling rn (i dont know if its by chance but for now guessing it is)

Although the layer that husk appears in people technically call layer 5 for some reason I'm not really counting it as layer 5 as it's still part of layer 4 but you can call it layer 5 if you want

But the reason why I didn't bring it up it's mainly because I wonder how people react when it happens but I might update it again just to be nice

Doesn't the Stumbler website say something about hitting barrels that look off? Are we sure that's a bug?
