Introduction
Hated by many, but loved by me.
Farm is a Zombies Survival and Grief map featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. It is a submap of the map Green Run and is the third location in the TranZit mode. Like all other Green Run submaps (Bus Depot, Diner and Town), there is no Power Switch, so the perks are able to be bought at the beginning of the game. Farm has the least amount of lava out of all of the three Green Run survival maps, but is mostly obscured by a thick green fog.

Farm is one of smallest maps and does not feature a Pack-a-Punch machine, this does not mean it's a hard map. In fact, I think it's the easiest Zombies map featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

I wrote this guide with in mind that you know the basics of Call of Duty Zombies.

My current PR is 44, let my know if you got to a higher round with the help of this guide.

Set up (1-20)
When you spawn in, don't buy Quick-Revive straight away.
Focus on getting as much points as possible.
When you are out of ammo or you have around 2000 points, you can open the house door (750)
and buy the mp5 (1000).

Now just use the mp5 to get headshots, around round 4-5 you should be able to buy the most important perk of all, Jugger-Nog! (2500)

Keep using the mp5 to get headshots, if you run out of ammo (500), just buy some more.
At around round 6 you should have enough points to buy the Galvaknuckles (6000)

Now you can really fly trough some rounds, don't even try to hoard the zombies, kill them as soon as they spawn in with you knuckles.

Now you will find that you are getting a lot of points really fast and its really up to you what you buy first.
My order is typically:

Quick-Revive (500)
Speed Cola (3000)
Double Tap II (2000)

And I also hit the box (1000) a couple of times at the end of every round.

Your main focus with the box should be Monkeys and the Ray-gun MKII.
If you roll the regular Ray-gun, get rid of it straight away as you can not have both of them at the same time.
For your secondary you just need someting with alot of ammo, its really up to you what you prefer.
I tend to go for the Galil, HAMR or RPD

Keep punching zombies and rolling the box until you hit round 14.
This is the point where the Galvaknuckles no longer "one-shot-kill".

If you dont have the MKII at this point, you can try to make a crawler and hit the box until it dies.
Be carefull, even with 1 crawler zombie hitting the box can be really dangerous on this map.

When you get to round 20 and you don't have the MKII yet, you should reset.
Hoarding (20-40)
When you are completely set up you can start hoarding.
Hoarding on Farm is very easy; there is no particular track you should be following.
Always work your way around truck. You will find that you can easily avoid spawning zombies when you are hoarding in this area, if you are forced to take an unexpected turn in barn or shed there is always a safe way out if you keep a tight hoard. When you are forced in house, always exit trough the hole in the corner of the top floor (not via balcony).

When you have a full hoard running behind you, kill them running towards the entrance.
I found that you have the least chance of getting bodyblocked doing it this way.
Be carefull, only go halfway towards the gate.

These are the areas you should avoid mid-round:
  • Top floor of barn
  • balcony
  • first half of entrance

Pro-tips
Drank your 3rd Quick-Revive? You're in luck!
When the perk machine disappears after you drank the 3rd one, hoarding becomes 10x more easy.
Take advantage of this.

Just before you start killing the hoard, lead them through the lava, when the zombies are on fire they have less health and when they explode, they deal AoE damage to the other zombies in the hoard.

Always run with your Ray-Gun MKII, its fast and safe!
Use you secondary gun much as you can to kill full hoards.

Power-Ups
The only power-up that really matters is Max-Ammo.
NEVER change your route for Carpenter or Double points, this will get you killed.
Nuke and Insta-Kill are very handy to save some time and ammo but I suggest not changing your playstyle when they are active.
Late game (40+)
At this stage, the map gets gradually harder.
The main reason, ammo.
Killing zombies with anything other than the MKII gets pretty hard.
For most guns, you will even run out of ammo before you can finish a round.

As mentioned hitting this box mid-round is very dangerous, zombies will start jumping up the balcony before you can pick up the weapon. I do not recommend using a monkey for this purpose, save them for when you are about to get trapped.

I usually go for the mp5 (1000).
Round 40+ killing zombies with this gun takes alot of ammo. You wil have to buy new ammo (500) for every 10 zombies you kill.

When using the MKII, get as far from your hoard as possible when you kill them.
This way they line up after each other and you can kill alot of them with one burst.
When a Max-Ammo pops up, take your time and kill as many zombies with your MKII as possible, then reload and pick it up.
