Tips and Advice for Beginners and Regulars
By NvMe 令
This guide is meant to help people get into the game since there is almost zero good guides that arent made years ago. The game also gets a bad rep since on the store page does not explain things well at all.

But a huge thanks to ANZ for being extremely helpful for answering questions that would have made me not pick up the game when the discussions are basically dead.

The guide will assume you've finished the tutorial and is a bit familiar with the game's basic mechanics.

The guide will have some of ANZ's answers and my gameplay experience put together from discussions since I think they are too valuable to be wasted being unseen in the forums.

Questions and FAQ
1. Can i transfer my data from mobile to Steam?

No, and this will likely be the status quo permanently.

2. The game has a lot of dlc, do i need them all?

No, most of them are for skins and the rest are for instant unlocks.

The mobile version only comes with 3 heroes while the PC version comes with 3 plus 4 more heroes since you technically bought them as the game on Steam isnt free to download.

3. Can I unlock characters outside of paying?

Yes

TLDR: Each day you can get hero fragments (from a choice of 3 heroes that refreshes after awhile) from doing the daily activities.

You can also do the battle pass and get a couple of universal hero tokens which can work with the hero-specific tokens together to speed things up.

Personally, i think this system is fine since each character has multiple play styles that are interesting and different. Plus the art and sprite work is pretty damm good as well. (This was a mobile game first mind you ,not many F2P mobile games put this much work in a game at all)

5. Where can I read more about the game?

Progression aka "How do i get stronger"
Your main way of getting stronger (for your regular heroes) is via Power of Asura (which you spend Soul Stone) which buffs your stats.

Generally speaking, offensive POAs like damage, crit and attack speed are more valuable with movement speed coming in close. Put some points into health and armour if you want if you have some extra leftover.

Naga heroes only can't get"Power of Asura but they still have access to Power of Six Realms like everyone else . Power of Asura is a game mechanic that let you spend Soul Stones to get a permanent percentage buff to character's 6 main stats: Health, Shield, Movement speed, Critical hit chance, Damage, Attack speed (applied to picked up weapon stats too).

Naga characters instead have an unique to them "Chakra" mechanic - each of Naga heroes have their own uniqe to them set of updates. It's set of 5 fields with maximum of level 5 for each, and after upgrating them all to 5 lvl, you can't get any more bonuses to Naga heroes.

Some people have said that Naga's heroes stats with fully leveled up Chakra is equivalent to regular heroes with PoA of 20000. Regular heroes can get PoA up to 50000 at max.
For example, 2,153 PoA allow getting +100% buff to one stat (double it).
Heroes like Uliana can easily beat PM2 + Real Mirage (Shortened to PM2 RM) while having around 60% upgraded, which shows how strong they are to warrant the initial high cost per upgrade.

Basically Naga characters starts stronger then regular characters by default, but have a limited growth potential, while regular characters start much weaker, but have a potential to become muuuuch stronger than Naga heroes. BUT it takes alot of resources and time to get it.

Also the plus of PoA of regular characters, is that it more flexible to set - for example Ginzo have a basic stat of Critical hit chance at 40, so aiming all the resurces on getting +150% buff to it will make his crit chance at 100% by default (40 + 40*1.50 = 100) and will allow his basic attacks to ALWAYS do crits.
Farming
Here is a recreation of a discussions in which this was asked:

"When should i start farming? Should i farm even thought im just at the mid game?"

Answer:

"Don't bother with farming until you get to late game stage. Because it looks like joke in comparison - my normal 30 minute run in Battlefield Mode Real Mirage Pandemonium II brings:
~6000 Soul Stones
~200 Sapphires
~60 Rubies
All together.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Really, first aim at regular progressing in the game first.
Next probably should be Ashburn Revoir (Rift) for farming at least same basic Realmsouls.
It's actually also not all that bad for farming gems too - aside of Realmsouls that can be got only there you also get ~1000 Soul Stones, ~60 Sapphires and ~10 Rubies per one run. Obviously on RM Pandemonum II

And it's actually easier to get a proper build for farming Rift."

You can read more about it here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/1761380/discussions/0/4040357419307127932/

The regular difficulties barely change the amount of gems you get and you need to play on PM2 to even get a bit more resources. If you can do PM2 RM then you should be farm Battlefield Mode and the Rift which is way better than regular mode anyways.

NvMe's personal advice: Get Uliana and get most of her skills, especially offensive ones, to level 3 at the very least. Now you're all set to quickly clear PM2 RM Rift mode to start farming for gems and realm stones. A maxed out Uliana can easily beat the end game content and is the fastest way to get noticeably more resources plus you can complete the Omnisphere challanges that give out a ton of Power of Asura.
Petland
- At the top of the Petland menu is a button with paw image and letters "Auto Pickup" which allow customize what items your pet will pick up (I saw some people missing this feature :PuzzleBallDONT_KNOW:);
- Pets that can be ONLY unlocked with Pet Toys are "permanent" pets that will never lose affinity after being unlocked. It means that they don't need to be fed anymore at all. (Important: if the pet has 2 options to give it food or toys it means even after unlocking it with toys it will still lose affinity! )
It require exactly 6 Pet Toys to unlock one pet. Pet Toys are normally only available through ingame purchases with real money, but not so long ago there was an event where it was possible to trade Skin Fragments on Pet Toys (1 on 1).
Notes on Heroes
- Ginzo: yatagarazu can be fired from both sides of timed properly (haven't tried it myself);
- Akaisha: charging attack will alter the shot;
- Gérard Quentin: special "attack dodge" when pressing Roll button while moving;
- Hannah: dodgeroll will reload her revolver, her ranged attacks are counted as skill attacks (??? not sure about this info, but I multiple times heard that when she use skill to equip special guns, shooting them with standart attack button counting as normal attacks);
- Hilding: health Regen and berserker mode;
- Katherine: all-directional roll, her default attack changing depending on which skills she has equipped, and also Thunder / Fire / Ice Elf items buffs her corresponding default attacks. Elf King provides all the buffs of default attack types;
- Penhaligon: enemy mark debuff and back Dodge (if held) makes him shoot his flintlock at the end (haven't tried it myself);
- Oli: little robot will collect screws; Her mech machine gun attack does NOT count as a basic attack! Important look out for the words "basic attack" on some items which specifically mention it.
Oil's mech melee attack also reloads all 50 rounds instantly into the machine gun as well on enemy hits!
- Peddler: "secret" back dodge that have related Soulboon - Savoir Faire (Reduces the remaining cooldown of skills by 20% when you dodge backwards) To do the dodge , hold down attack and then tap the opposite direction and dodge at the same time
- Hayfa: marked enemies will receive a second hit;
- Jadetalon: enemies that are close to the player when attacking will receive less damage, enemies closer to the edge of the blade will receive more damage;
- Ruthven (probably the most interesting):
He has a Secret skill - while in Maledict form, if you tap three times on both the primary and secondary skill at the same time, even if they're currently on cooldown, Ruthven will instantly lose the Maledict state and drop to 1HP, then become invincible for the next 5 seconds and blast a huge area with many, many 10-damage ticks, dealing an average of 900 damage to a single target when no external buffs are present. After the move is over, Ruthven's skills and dodge will have to undergo a full cooldown. This attack can be released only once per scene or until the character is revived.

Also characters have from one to few exclusive to them effects available for Realmsouls.
For example one of Oli's is "Parts automatically refill with time. (Oli gains 1 part per 3 seconds)"
Solarium (Garden for growing plants)
:
- Plant seeds and water them;
- After 5 hours of real time water again;
- After 5 hours of real time water last time;
- After 2.5 hours harvest fully grown up plants.

Also a good idea to unlock all of the pots and plant all of them with the gem seed, you'll get soul stones, sapphires and rubys.
Mirage Pass
When purchasing Supreme Pass and unlocking exclusive skin, it's possible to choose what skin you want to get - including all the previous skins.

Nope, from what the devs said it’s because of the complicated security laws regarding it in China they can’t have cross platform play

Is there still no way to transfer the date from mobolie to steam?

You need 13000 PoA get +100% increse in all six stats.
41000 PoA to get +200% increse in all stats.
Not sure how much there will be at 50000 PoA limit (probably around ~230%), but if you put it all in one single stat then you'll get +659,8% bonus :BITRAY_Strange:

Ok, that's pretty interesting: some time ago I started to always getting an error "Log in failed. Please check the network connections." upon launching the game.
I still could play in SP but all real money purchases were locked for me and I couldn't join any MP game.
I then stopped playing since I thought that my progress won't be carried when game will be fixed, but recently when I noticed that this problem was resolved, to my surprise, the Realmsouls and Gems I earned in that "offline" state didn't dissapear but were moved on to the game with proper connection. Not sure about some small stuff, but it seems that it's fine to play game when there are internet problems. That's cool.

Me with absolutely brain rot thought that: if we maxed PoA then spent it equally we will have 90%🤦🏻💀

Good job :thumbsup:

But few moments:

- Progression aka "How do i get stronger"
"Naga heroes only can't get"Power of Asura but they still have access to Power of Six Realms like everyone else . It's a game mechanic that let you spend Soul Stones to get a permanent percentage buff..."
This kinda become misleading. It sound like Power of Six Realms is a mechanic that let you spend Soul Stones to get buff, but it's actually Power of Asura that do this.

- Solarium
It's 5, 5, 2.5 hours. I tested it.

Besides I think it will be good to add a link on game Wiki too - https://otherworld-legends.fandom.com/wiki/Otherworld_Legends_Wiki
