!! Design isn't final, the textures will get an update, when the trams got delivered and there are better photos available

In early 2024 the first two pre-production vehicles from a total of 51 new high-floor trains will roll through Essen and Mülheim an der Ruhr for test purposes. With an investment of around 150 million euros, the Ruhrbahn plans to renew their entire vehicle fleet by 2026. The new vehicles will completely replace the old Docklands and B-cars in and around Essen, which are between 30 and 45 years old.
