Why escape? What's so bad?
Well...
You definetly experienced this yourselves at least once:
You open the game, casually, and just think of playing a bit. Then you get sucked in the gameplay loop and get hungry and thirsty, but you don't notice because "The Factory Must Grow". Once you actually have the time to get food and drinks because you are researching something or similar, you look on the clock. What do you see? 4AM.

Yeah. You had this happen if you have at least 50 hours in the game. Don't lie to me, you know you had this happen.
So, what are the problems you may ask?
Let me explain. The Gameplay loop makes you play more and more without noticing the time and hungriness of you. You may forget drinking enough and might get lightheaded. You might start noticing symptoms of dehydration as you have been playing for 3 days now, and you might also notice signs of sleep deprivation (but that is unavoidable in this game).
So, now that you know the effects of the game, you may proceed to the next "Chapter" of this guide.
Why is a drink and food so important?
You know why, but I am still going to explain (to make this guide look more authentic).

So. After 10 days of no water, you die due to organ failure, that means, you can't expand the factory anymore. After 43-70 days without food, you die. The human body in an average adult is 60% water, so water is pretty useful, and food is just for calories and vitamins and other important stuff.
The actual escape guide
You may try closing the game, but that rarely works. I started writing this guide because I closed the game due to frustration in an IR3 save, but opened it after 10 minutes again and because I am hungry and my mouth is dry. So closing the game is not a option.
Uninstalling has the same problem, and you don't want to stop playing this beautiful crack addiction of a game.
So the only option is just putting food in front of you and drinks before starting playing, so you always have snacks and so on when you need them.
Or you could always just.. die, but I digress, and would strongly advise you of not dying.

I hope this guide helped you gain strength to eat a burger.

Remember to not get ran over by a train on your way to the red circuits!

I am glad to inform that I did sleep and ate. Now it is 2am and I sat down to have a nice cup of trying to seal the NE part of the base while getting pummeled by an overly saturated train system and lack of space.

This guide is factual in its... Um... Facts!

I feel like I am adjusted now that I have this solution... I can say after 400 hours I don't know how I've survived.

Thank you, now I can be calm, because I'm binging Factorio only 4 days in a row without food and drink. I will drink on the 9th day and eat on the 42nd.
