1, Do not go around and explore/ level just yet, make sure you go straight ahead into the spell forge



2, Talk to the Spell Smith Ethel. Click Forge spells ->spellforging 1-> and you would see an overwhelmingly amount of spells that you can craft. You can only CRAFT spells for now and will not get them as a drop.



3,Now, use your imagination and picture a spell that you would enjoy. For example, whirl pool looks interesting... so you hover your mouse to the blue scroll and check out its descriptions.

Now, be aware that the spells have specific requirements


For example, the spell whirlpool requires Elementalism 24, meaning that you need 24 points into the stat called Elementalism in order to use the skill.

The spell's damage and potency will increase with its corresponding scaling stat.

4, After you have chosen a spell that interests you or fits your play style, press C and open character page. Now you will not be confused by those stats names because you have a skill in mind.

Here is an example of a character page, As you can see i have 100+ points into Evocation, meaning that i have spent ALL of my leveling points into Evocation, making my build a pure Evocation build.

As we reflect back to the spellforge skills, the overwhelming amount of skills is not so difficult at all, If you do a pure build like me, you will only use the skills that requires Evocation,

You can also use a few other skills for fun or for heals. If so, you may add a bit of points into the other stats, but it is highly NOT recommended to use level stat points because you will get gears that will give you those stats for free.





A tip for the above image: 1-5 is elementalist skills, 6-11 is enchanting, 12-16 is Evocation, and 17-20 is Martial. Worry not, the developers have categorized every class' skills in this order.


So what are those confusing specs? Simply:

Evocation= DPS/AOE

Enchanting= Support/heal/shield

Martial= Im gunna bash yer skulls in (Melee DPS/tank)

Elementalist= Little bit of everything with a slice of Crowd Control

OOPS, i did not read this guide and just leveled up everything, am i screwed? Luckily, no, you can buy a MindMelt Tincture from the General Store for 500 coins. Be sure to ask in global chat for a high level player to buy it for you, they normally have too much money for their own good.

IF you want to skip the painful questing, ask for high level players to take you on an Event Boss Raid and you will get massive amounts of exp, up until level 13. This is a huge advantage, be sure to ask in global chat.

Step 1, IF not, go west of the town center into the blue lake map with water and complete every quest you see. ASK for help if you are stuck on a quest or trial boss, high level players will gladly party with you and clear every obstacle in your way.

This is a DUNGEON and does not count towards the extra level up you get from completing all trials & delves. This dungeon is extremely hard and requires a full group of lv 20s.

Step 2, After you have finished all quests in Water (blue) zone, head straight to the south of the town center into the Red (fire) zone and complete all trials/delves to get an extra level up. (the quests offered there can be skipped)

FOR THOSE THAT COMPLAIN ABOUT NO MAP.



Open your Newcomer Guide, the brown book, and then you will see the option of "open map".

Step 3, After completion of Sapphire and Ruby, Go to the bounty board next to the town center guild hall, Take a bounty, (those are going to be Jade wood trial boss bounties) and party up with other players if you are too weak to handle them on your own. Note: there will be multiple bounties, but you will only do one at a time, Do not do bounties below lv 13, it will waste the exp boost.



Bounties are a massive source of XP, you will NOT get XP from monsters!!!

4, Go into the Jade woods (East of town center) and take all quests that are offered there (only three quests and they are easy to spot)

Surveyor Marla will have you kill every trial boss and delve boss in the Jadewoods, so make sure you do this quest with the bounties together, because you can do both quests at the same time by killing the required bosses.

Surveyor Delyn will have you obtain a drop from the world boss Rajin. Be sure to wait for the world boss to spawn and kill it together with other players.

5, After the completion of all bounties you will be level 17-19. Wait for the next weekly reset and redo all trials & delves, in water, ruby, or jade.

6, End game as of now is World Boss Train and event raid bosses. rare world boss spawn every Hour and Bigger bosses spawn every 2 hours.

You can only get gear from memories, they are loot boxes that can be opened for rewards like Gem shards (for skills) and equipment that give Stats. Memories will drop from Chests, mobs, World bosses, and you will get a lot of them in your adventure.

Equip which ever gear that gives you the highest amount of stats that you need.

SAVE UP ALL OF YOUR PURPLE MEMORIES and open them when you hit LV 15!!!! They have greater chance of giving purple gear which is essential to your class build *the blue gear are useless when you have a full set of purple. And gear below lv 15 is a much lower rank.

3, Paladin set= Tank, can go with any spec
4, Wizard set= Evocation
5, Spellblade set= I ran outta spells, i still got a sword tho. Evocation/physical
6, Druid Set= Elementalist



I will only show hats here because it represent well of the Set's appearances



LASTLY, Remember that those 2 spells are your bread and butter. There are no mana potions or any form of mana regen in the game at all. The one that looks exactly like the magic bolt is Recall, just as you recall to fountain and AFK after a league match with randoms.

You need to equip those skills asap.
