Got bored of seeing other players making bad mistakes.
Work in progress guide.
Tips
Defending is easy as sprinting is LOUD. So set up camp in the flag zone for extra visual warning.

Never bail out of your vehicle when enemy is close.
If your sqaddie is down outside the tank do not get out to revive them.
You just make it easy for enemy to steal the vehicle.

If you bail out of your vehicle when it is low health make sure enemy does not take it.
Either get back in or blow it up.

Slow down when attacking a flag as sprinting is LOUD.

Know when to fall back and when to attack. Can you win the fight?

Best to stay with your squad leader as it increases your chance of being revived and promotes teamwork.

Spot before you shoot. There is never a guarantee you can kill the target on your own.

Prone/crouch is a great option and not only used for snipers. It helps your accuracy.

Being prone in a area swarming with enemies when you cannot fall back might even the field.
Suppressors win here.

When you have shot an enemy, resist the urge to shoot from the same spot.

Once you have killed an enemy and you believe they are going to try to hunt you, relocate to a area looking over your old area and gun them down.

Pre-aiming where you think the enemy might be is much better than hip firing in most cases.

Don't camp base with your vehicle.
AA tanks lose too much damage at long range and become mostly useless.
TOR tanks have more chance of killing targets if closer.
Just sit close to snipers for backup that are not camping base and also get a gunner.

When in a jet boost to out-turn the enemy jet.
If you cannot shake an enemy on your rear, slow down and let them overtake you.

Engineers need ammo constantly. They need rockets for all the rocket launchers (not Lizzies).
Drop big ammo boxes they give gadget ammo.

Everytime you shoot any weapon including those in vehicles you will appear on minimap.
You are sending up a RED flare with a sign saying SHOOT ME.

When using a tank do not push too far alone. Most likely you will be flanked and destroyed easily. Only exception is if you are full speed rushing for a flank but you must keep moving.

In battlefield 5 a major play was to jump on a enemy tank so it cannot shoot you.
They panic and get out rather than switch to gunner.
You can do this on most of the armoured vehicles.
MAV you cannot vault so you need parkour. Ram you will just fall off.

HMG and Minigun does nothing against ground vehicles with plating you just going to alert them and be instantly shelled or rocketed.

Play to your vehicle's strengths.
MBT? Go hunt some ground vehicles.
Do not camp at back of base shooting at choppers hoping to get multi-kill on chopper.

Passengers in tanks should shoot ground targets more. Had so many times when they shoot at a chopper and then we get bombed by either jet or that chopper.

When it comes to sharpshooting or peaking corners don't shoot from same corner if enemy saw you.
Shoot from another corner.
Same with killcams be sure to move position a bit. Don't stay in one spot too long.

Make room in vehicles such as transport choppers, cav and mav.
Team cannot spawn otherwise.

In conquest you only need one more flag than enemy. So cap the ones closest to your base and defend.

Community tips
Wait for revives, squaddies and medics get lots of points for reviving you.
Stick with your squad to increase revive chance.
This will help you avoid frustration from dying too much.

Do not waste vehicles or bail out of them as driver unless you are certain they will blow up.
Enemy may steal your ride.
I sometimes just run at enemy tanks and they foolishly bail out cause they think I have c5 (i dont always have c5).
They bail out I steal the ride.

Here's a tip for long range fights :

Your scopes do a flash whenever you're pointing at an enemy, if you want to snipe from an unusual spot use x4 or lower scopes to remain hidden before you take the shot.

Another tip regarding the same scope flash : If you engage in a sniper fight you're not sure you can win, the scope flash of the enemy will show through smokes, smoke yourself move a bit and take the shot at the glare that you can see through your smoke. (yes it's pretty toxic)

Remember that vehicles have much more value than infantry (regarding impact on the game and scarcity) if you can take down an enemy vehicle at the cost of your own life you won that trade, same applies to saving ally vehicles: better go down with it than to save your hide by abandoning a vehicle to the enemy.

@immortal Haha your one wish I'd delete it. We will see who is superior at tank surfing. I do that to steal tanks.

My tip: As a medic player, I am not omnipresent. Keep in mind that revives give tons of points so medic can be easy XP. Also, non-medic squadmates can revive squadmates, deffo worth. As always, PTFO.
