A review of Wanted:Dead for the PC. A hybrid of Shooter/Hack and Slash and made by teams who worked on both the Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive franchises.

The story is a bit of a mess and basically takes a lot of homages from series such as Blade Runner, Metal Gear, Cyber City Oedo and various others and puts them all together to create this.

The plot starts out great in chapter 1 but everything after that becomes a bit of a mess because various scenes aren't in any particular order, some sections get mentioned once and then dropped and never mentioned again (like Jane Doe body and what the purpose even was of Madam Wong) and you end up doing missions 2 and 3 without any real explanation as to why your doing it or what the purpose of them even is.
The last few missions after that don't go into much detail about the plot or helping to explain it either. The big reveal at the end also seems rather non sensical because it makes zero sense what so ever.

That being said the Gameplay itself is actually a of fun because it feels like more older hack and slash style games such as Ninja Gaiden Black (IE its hard) and learning to master everything is a challenge.
Did we mention the game is full of Mini-Games as well? expect Food Eating competitions, 2D side scrolling shooters, Crane Games, Karaoke and a lot of other random stuff.

The game has also just received an update to fix a few issues that the game had. Apparently more content is supposed to be coming  which I can only assume is more arcade cabinets in the entertainment room.
